Ethanol is a disinfectant. Hand sanitizers contain 65% ethanol.
Vodka and gin contain ethanol.
Tonic water contain 83 parts per million of quinine. (Hydroxychloroquine is a synthetic analog of quinine.)
It seems like the President is telling us to have vodka and tonic cocktails.
I’ll drink to that!!

Been drinking vodka tonics since I heard about it. With a splash of cranberry of course. However it is hard to find tonic water recently.

Those of us who follow Trump closely understand how he talks.
Yesterday he sounded like he was in a conference room having a brainstorming session. You know, the kind where everybody shouts out ideas and nothing is off the table, then some random person puts them on sticky notes and tacks them to the wall for further discussion.
He’s a businessman... that’s just how his mind works.

We had a doctor that the other 3 doctors in our town considered a quack. I went to him once when I was a teenager and had strep throat, he used a little UV wand down my throat, I don’t even remember the outcome.

It appeared as if Trump had heard about the information regarding temperature and humidity on COVID-19 just prior to the briefing and was excited about that.

Right, Trump is a real person and sometimes real people say things like that. He clarified shortly afterwards even though he didn’t need to. The real story here is our jackal press.

Trump should learn not to riff on medical questions and advice, he’s not conducting his campaign rallies where the audience is more forgiving of such things.

Step up a notch from Canada Dry or Schweppes to Fever Tree. More expensive, so it doesn't sell out so quickly.

The problem is that the Enenmedia (nor do any of the unwashed masses of the Left) doesn't think he HAS a mind.
I've seen some really vile things this morning online. One person (whom I happen to know) said:
"If you own a MAGA hat and are feeling unwell your instructions, straight from the orange one himself, are to inject some bleach, drink a cup of lysol*, shove a UV-C lamp up your ass, and pop a couple hydroxychloroquine. Otherwise you have to turn in your hat. Thems the rules."
This is what we're dealing with. What do you do against such vile idiocy? "

The "disinfectant" used by the body is Cathelicidin , which depends on sufficient vitamin D levels. "Decreased production of cathelicidin antimicrobial protein-18 (hCAP18) has been proposed to be a key mechanism linking decreased 25-hydroxyvitamin D (25D) levels with adverse outcomes among critically ill patients."
Cathelicidin antimicrobial protein, vitamin D, and risk of death in critically ill patients
People who are old, overweight, or dark skinned have lower vitamin D levels. This can be corrected with supplementation.
About 100 years ago, it was discovered that either cod liver oil or sunlight was effective in treating rickets. That only required a low level of Vitamin D. Modern researchers recommend a level more like that of the Hadza tribe in Africa. One researcher treats nursing home residents in Canada:
Vitamin D for influenza
