Acosta was projecting. He is the one who is scared. Everyone is alarmed about the direction this is taking and we are in unknown territory. One thing to consider is that 3 million die in the US every year. If this hits 100,000 it will be only about 3% of expected deaths each year, and many of those would have died this year of another cause (most >70 with other contributing factors). Not too comforting if it you or loved one. As a t-shirt if saw a few weeks ago said “Life is a death sentence”.
According to projections here: https://covid19.healthdata.org, some 93, 765 deaths are projected between the beginng and August 1st. At the top, around April 15th, we will be seeing some 2600 deaths per day for a number of days, with more than 2,000 deaths per day between April 8th and the 27th. That is a hefty number.
This study so far, appears to be right on and is adjusted near daily. I see that the number of projected deaths has gone up from 81K to 93K...That is because that asshoe Emergency Manager went to the beach with his family in Sonoma County, right?

Sometimes these SOUND BITES show up on Youtube. Did you ever know that CNN always have about 4X as many people who give the thumbs down...as those who give the thumbs up?
