Nancy Pelosi needed Joe to bring in money because Nancy has to go into hiding soon.
I saw a big bumper sticker today.
“Feel the Bern”
My first thought was “Shouldn’t that be feel the Biden?”
My next thought, and I might have even said it to the person, was “Oh I get it. He wants to let the Boston Bomber vote. Many of his victims suffered burn injuries. That’s a great bumper sticker!”
Beto seems over. May be too early.....
But what will Biden, Bernie, and Beto do with the millions being poured into their campaigns, except use it to pay for opposition research to destroy their opponents, or to pay advisors to think up outlandish proposals like allowing felons to vote.
If any of the Democratic presidential hopefuls had any positive messages to impart to voters they’d be all over Iowa and New Hampshire imparting them. But how can a Democrat make the usual promises of more jobs and more prosperity when the Trump economy has already created virtual full employment and a booming economy? Will we even hear the words ‘’employment,” “the economy,” or “jobs” from the mouths of Democrats when all they do is remind voters of what a good job Trump is doing?
An eleventh hour save by Michelle acing Bernie will finish his bases patience. Theyll stay home or vote for Trump is the word floating about.
Ditto.
Can’t say more.
Ditto.
the DNC has eliminated superdelegates from the first convention ballot ...
And they may be the plan, a brokered convention. First ballot put on for looney leftist sheeple, second ballot back to the same ole thing. One thing I can’t help but loves is all the money the left will spend on their 20+ candidates, and I know the left has plenty of leftist billionaires to fund their operations, but still how much money can the millennials have to spend on campaign contributions before it effects their starbucks budget. The campaign is going to be fun to watch, geez gropin Joe opens his campaign with a proven falsehood....
Thanks. I did not know that.
There may be so many candidates in the race because somebody can't just win over the superdelegates before the primaries even start.
Biden’s son collaborated with the Red Chinese and the Russians in Ukraine for millions in business deals. In fact the Red Chinese deal was a $billion. They did it to buy influence. Biden is now totally managed by the Red Chinese. The government has changed in Ukraine and will soon indict Biden’s son. This is much bigger that the hotel never built in Moscow. This is real corruption.
I think this early, with this many candidates, they are simply placing bets — not too different from early venture capital funders.
And there the overwhelming impulse is still to go with men over women — beyond their comparable accomplishments and qualifications. (Obviously, accomplished men outnumber accomplished women in tech altogether.)
Also, they are betting in part on the polls, which are largely based at this point on name recognition. And those men have the most name recognition.
Hill was certainly able to shake down her share for her races. If she were less of a criminal, she’d still have had name recognition, but probably would have got less in.
“There may be so many candidates in the race because somebody can’t just win over the superdelegates before the primaries even start. “
the superdelegates won’t come into play unless there’s no majority winner on the first ballot; after that, they come into play on all subsequent ballots, and my guess is that they’ll go en-mass for whomever they think has the best chance of winning, which will probably be someone who at least APPEARS to be “centrist” like Jo Bidn ...
But Jo may get a majority of delegates anyway, because the state-level organizations will be rigged for the insider ...
I think you’ve pretty much nailed it across the board ...
Thanks 2ndDivisionVet. The DNC knows President Trump will be reelected, and know they've got to get shed of the deadwood in 2020 so they'll be ready for 2024.
Despite the DNC, the candidate is going to be Joe Biden. The conspiracy to oust him to replace him with either Beto or Bettigieg will fail. The public will prevail.
