I saw a lot of Officer Standdowns sitting on their
hands when Trump supporters were being set upon.
To many openings only covers chest/back. Gut, arms, legs, hands, head are left open. Nor are they the same high quality as Military vest.

If you can, would you explain your comment in greater detail. Are you referring to police in general, or to specific police departments?

Fully agree with where you’re coming from, but there’s a mitigating factor there and that is the chain of command. I suspect many officers on the street are caught between a rock and a hard place, because if they stand down they may be doing so in order not to be disciplined or fired or charged with a crime. They’re really in a position similar to the grunts in combat who must risk their lives to comply with ridiculous ROEs devised by politicians and JAGs.
Still is. I am anti thug. If cops behave like thugs then I’m anti thug. If police decide to protect and serve then they aren’t thugs.
Just search on police standing around while peaceful Trump supporters are attacked.
When the police are more willing to attack average citizens for revenue over their jobs of protect and serve then I will be anti thug!
I won’t post the many links I have of police killing average citizens. The police picked sides in some areas of this country. The picked thugs and do not deserve respect, tax dollars, or respect.
Having said that, I have a city/town south of me where the police serve. They are great. Sheriff department is great. North of me is a revenue focused disease of a police force. Screw them.
