Well, that and look what would have replaced him. Gore was and is both very strange and dumber than a bag of hammers. If it's a choice between an evil and corrupt but clearly intelligent president and a flaming moron, I'll take Door No. 1. Voted for Papa Bush and cranky ol' Dole and hated losing. But at least Al Gore didn't make it in 2000.
