I don’t know anyone who is pro unfettered immigration legal or otherwise.

I think you are correct that Kasich would struggle to win even suburban Republicans. Last year, I made a point to note how Trump did in two specific places: the Upper East Side neighborhood of Manhattan and all of the city of Beverly Hills, California. If you believed the hype, you would think Trump would get almost no votes from either place, but I recall at least 30% of voters in both the UES and Beverly Hills went for Trump. Now that Trump has proven he can govern without blowing up the world, his numbers would be even higher.

Pro- Immigration Pro Environment is a complete contradiction from tghe first word.
The more immigrants here who don’t give a damn about our environment, the less chance you have of living a decent life here in the USA. They are ‘escaping’ their Third World Countries-—but they refuse to use out cultures & laws & rules. They are only contaminating this country.
Kasich is beyond stupid.

Dear John Kasich:
You may have met Ronald Reagan.
You are no Ronald Reagan.
To: Sir Napsalot
You can run with that platform, John. But you can’t win.

Man, some people have absolutely NO self awareness...

Is there some rule allowing candidate to redirect money into some “fund” from which family members will collect a salary to help oversee things?
To: Sir Napsalot
John Kasich does not have a clue as to what is going on. He got trounced in 2016. From that one would assume that nobody wants him, but not him. Go ahead and waste the money of somebody who is willing to put it up. Once again, he will not make it through to November, Republican or Democrat. Just watch!
To: Sir Napsalot
After Kasich's disgraceful and disloyal behavior during the 2016 Republican Convention, he is disqualified from being a Republican candidate for anything.
He might try to run as a spoiler.

The bulk of Republicans believe in lawful immigration and assimilation, with education in the fundamentals of the Republic.
We could use more Dinesh D'Souza's.
