We have an opportunity to destroy the power of the Democrat Party for a generation. Trump has just gotten started on it. I expect indictments for numerous Democrat crimes. They are so numerous that they need not even be terribly selective.

Durbin is a shape-shifter. He’ll be whatever you want him to be. You don’t “gradually” become the bleeding heart liberal he is but he pulled it off.
Durbin really wasn’t part of the “Chicago” machine (which really no longer exists as it used to) except when it’s useful to him.
He really didn’t and doesn’t need it.
He was raised in the middle of the state and was a breadbasket, blue dog RAT representative who was a strict pro-life catholic elected in 82.
His views “evolved” when ran for the Senate the first time and got swept in with in the Clinton election in 96.
