I doubt that they'll retake either house.

If republicans don’t stand their ground I think democrats will take both houses. And I don’t think republicans will stand their ground.

Working people that have always paid for their own insurance will be better off. Most of the ones that might have to take a “cut” are the ones doing drugs on election day anyway. Just what I read into it..

Aren’t there about 25 Democrat senators up for re-election in 2018, vs. only about 10 Republicans?? And of the 25 Democrats, aren’t about 10 of those from states carried by Trump???

And normally Democrat turnout is lower in off year elections, which will make it that much harder for Dems in 2018.

The article is of course propaganda claiming the GOP just murdered old people.

Yes the senate lines up well for republicans but I fear the base will stay home because why bother? For example I think the Senate GOP will make liberal butchery of the health care law.

Cultural values will always matter more than policy. If Democrats want to retake Congress, they’ll need more Blue Dogs like Joe Manchin.

Chuck Schumer was in charge of recruiting conservative-ish dem candidates to run in hopes of getting enough elected to ensure passage of 0bamacare with no GOP votes. Their only value was that legislation. Otherwise, they were conservative nuisances. Remember the ones who sold their soul for an exec order to not pay for abortions— promised but reneged on by 0bama?
They’re all gone now.

Unfortunately the media tells people that the radical left democrat party is just a more humane mainstream party. And many people are blissfully ignorant. Democrats like Obama pretend to be centrists while doing leftist evil.

I Highly recommend all DemocRatic candidates ask Maxine Waters to go stumping for them. Why waste a good thing, right? ;-)

Well, she is good for someone.. like her family who feeds off the public trough via her office and banking connections.

Precisely!

My prediction is that the Rats in the Senate will lose 6 seats. We already know which ones they will lose. You see we can also put out fake news too!

The MSM will also continue to go down in flames for a lot of their fake news. The MSM are all one big joke and the American public is catching to their agenda very quickly and the MSM does not even know that tiny bit of news or maybe they do not even care one bit.

The other big news is that these Media types make a bundle of money ($$$) in salary and they are clueless that the American public has quit even seeing the Major Media news outlets.

There’s only one blue dog states left. W. Virginia and Pennsylvania.

I think the convergence of many ‘Trump’ factors will thwart the takeover of either the House or the Senate. The Senate sits precarious though.

I doubt that they'll retake either house.

Especially if Trump manages to rein them in and get them working for the People.

Of course, we have a lot of "principled" folks who think handing it all over to the Dims is the "principled" thing to do if their every hope and wish doesn't come true.

I read a few posts where some folks here want to clear out the RINOs even if it means giving both the House and Senate to the Dems - it would cripple any plans of any Republican president these days but I guess their "principles" are going to keep them warm and cozy in the reality of today's political/social spectrum.

It would be great to get rid of all the RINOs but that would probably give the Dems a filibuster/veto-proof majority in both Houses.

LOL! Classic cop out about "how it really would work to our advantage". You say that as if there was some assurance of a good conservative getting in, and prevailing.

Doesn't address the fact that many would actually condone voting for the Democrat to 'clean the RINO swamp" even if it meant taking algae out and replacing it with toxic bacteria.

If you think I'm missing something, explain it so even an idiot could understand it.

And maybe consider displaying some of them principles that may have led you to your screen name...

What are you talking about?!

I simply replied “I see. That’s what primaries are for” and I’m copping out? Merely an attempt to agree with you then step back (it seems you failed to see why I replied in the first place).

Wow. I have no idea what this thread is about other than title. Your use of my screen name drew my attention. I assure you there was no other interest I had.

Take a step back FRiend.

If you care to, tell me what I was copping out to. Because I have no idea.
