Exactly. Well said. I think travelling to so many towns with Trump, he as well as Donald, heard the crying voices of the people and it touched their hearts. Ben feels as Donald he wants to pay pack for the great life he has been given. Thankfully he has vision and the drive needed to help the inner cites and boy will he be a great voice for Donald. I’m sure he has several ministers and people in the different communities that will keep him up dated as to their needs.
It is refreshing and energizing to see DJT considering younger talent. There are many really sharp young conservative people out there. These times will be great experience for whoever he chooses, and will prepare them to more easily take over when we (the geriatric gang~ha) are gone.
I wonder if Pence’s wife is with him at all of the meetings??
Didn’t the R’s nominate Ryan unanimously? Or did I hear that wrong?
Now I didn’t see her in my mind in the meeting but perhaps visiting with Melania or Ivanka. Just my thought.
Since it was the old House with the same members, no one was willing to make a caucus challenge sure to fail.
With a couple dozen new GOP members, the new Congress in January may be willing to use threats of a whole-House challenge to extract concessions or even force Ryan out (as with Boehner). Even so, the next Speaker wouldn’t be very conservative either.
