I’m leaning more toward the possibility that God is punishing her emotionally, physically and spiritually for spitting in His face. She did, afterall, swear an oath to God for the various offices she assumed, and broke that oath.
In the Greek and Roman legend of the Furies, humans who broke their oath to the gods were driven insane. “...they represented justice and were seen as defenders of moral and legal order...”

Trump has won the election and Democrats’ main worry now is not about electing Hillary - but about staving off down-ballot losses.

That’s a viable possibility for sure. God doesn’t take broken promises lightly, especially they’re promises made to Him.
