No, I was just checking. You guys ‘believe in the constitution’ and show it by supporting a guy who has repeatedly ACTED to subvert it and whose father believes he is going to redistribute wealth. Awesome. You constitutionalists are just so impressive.
Trump explicitly assaults the First Amendment.
Cruz has won Supreme Court cases defending it.
For example, it is legal to display the Ten Commandments at a state capitol like Texas because of Cruz’s advocacy and success.
Trump seeks to bully people into silence by constantly threatening to sue and suggesting that legal standards should be changed so that critical media can be shut down when it criticizes him.
I used to think that it was a winning team, too. So much water over that bridge now.
We’ve got enough blackmailable justices with Roberts. Plus, Cruz’s stated positions and his record are two different things. Just let him finish out his term and slouch away from the public stage.
Trump is a liberal sheep in conservative clothing.
Trump will say anything to serve himself, then he will cut any deal with liberals to serve himself.
