Actually Animal Farm Politics were not near as corrupt as the corruption that eats at the heart of our democratic REPUBLIC. Our republic is suffering from democracy. The Greeks and Ben Franklin warned us about this.
Democracy is great and beautiful when all are altruistic. Few are altruistic. Thus we vote to rob Peter, to rob John, to rob Charles, and to rob all to put their capitol and wealth into my pocket. It works great until Peter, John and Charles pockets are empty.
However, Peter and John and Charles being good capitalist have probably taken their wealth out of the country most legally before the socialist try to take it. Peter, John and Charles understand these things and consider them a great inconvenience but will manage well.
Those that are only marginally wealthy and are shop keepers, farmers, drivers, North Sea Oil workers will get screwed as the government will take their wealth quite legally with new rules and legislation.
TEXAS WILL SUCCEED AND FIGHT BEFORE WE ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN TO OUR TEXAS REPUBLIC.
1836 was a damn good year to be free. I pray that spirit lives on. In that vein I would also like to note that about 25% of the names of those that fought and died at the Alamo were Mexican. They fought for freedom and though they died, their deaths gave our Texas freedom.
If you have never been to the Alamo please go. Go into that sacred shrine and read the names on the wall. The names are English, Irish, Scottish, Hispanic, German etc. They are labeled by nationality. However, their true nationality is TEXAN! If you must speak please do so in whispers. It is a sacred spot.

I had to go back and check what I had posted. I thought that maybe I had done something really bad. I posted a picture of Cruz and a caption that says, “Hey, Obama, can I get one of those preemptive pardons also.” Considering the crap Cruz has pulled during this election cycle I would say that their was nothing inappropriate or out of context in my post.
But I don't hate Cruz or his supporters. In fact as I said in another post I believe that we should all be very grateful to Cruz and especially his followers here. I want to thank you. Cruz and his supporters like you are the ones who have now blown the lid off the Republican party and exposed the corruption, the lying, the unapologetic acceptance of completely immoral behavior and their willingness to make a mockery of Christianity. It may seem stupid to some of us that Cruz and his supporters are not even try to cover the crap that they have been pulling, such as disenfranchising millions of voters and when challenged responding only that they are “following the rules”. But it has taken this open and flagrant disregard of common decency to pull the wool off of my eyes. If it were not for Cruz and his supporters I would still be walking around in a fog believing in the Republican establishment.
We can thank Cruz and his supporters for making all of us now realize that those who claim to be “true constitutional conservatives” can actually be every bit as dishonest, immoral, and disgusting as those on the other side. I personally had no idea that this was possible until the lying the cheating and the outright hypocrisy from Cruz and his followers. I would have never suspected that any of this could happen just a couple months ago. You have opened my eyes. I am disgusted by all of this, but thank you Cruzers for waking me up to reality. I guess I needed a swift kick in the rear to make me realize that a lifetime of voting a straight didn't make me morally superior to those on the other side. We have scum on our side that are every bit as bad.

I say this since you have made a bunch of accusations concerning me and Cruz for which you have no proof. You made an assumption about me, with no evidence, and assumptions about Cruz for which you have media reports and no first hand knowledge.
So you judged me, and found me wanting. And you have judged Cruz, and found him wanting. But no real proof. I know you will scream about reports in the news, but most Freepers KNOW how reliable the MSM is. SO I assume your accusations against Cruz are more from your personal choices than from real knowledge.
You have my sympathy for the load of hate you carry. If you are a Christian, please spend some time in prayer and get your soul right with God.

What “assumptions” have I made about you that are not true? And how have I judged you? How is it right that Trump won the Arizona primary over Cruz by 2 to 1 yet every Pledged Trump Delegate from Arizona is a Cruz operative? And how can you possibly justify the debacle in Colorado?
And yes I am a sinner and I pray for forgiveness every day because none of us are worthy to make it to glory without our savior Jesus Christ. And who are you to judge me to be hateful and not a Christian? I think that maybe you should take a look at the mirror yourself.

Talking points? Have you got your head in the sand? All of Trump’s pledged delegates in Arizona where Trump one by 2 to 1 are Cruz operatives. Is that a talking point? No, it is outright deception and an attempt to disenfranchise those who voted for Trump.
I guess we need to review what has taken place between us. I posted a picture and a caption that was an obvious attempt at humor that was completely innocuous. You responded by saying I was hateful, invoked the memory of my greatest hero, and said that I needed to check my “bile” levels.
I do not hate Ted Cruz, I feel sorry for him, very sorry for him. He is so intelligent, has so many good ideas, and is on the right side of so many issues. But he has no moral compass and he has lost his way. I can’t support someone like that right now.
My best friends and I started the election season excited about Ted Cruz. But through his actions he has now alienated everyone in my group with his sleazy campaign. He appears to be the most deceptive, and nasty charlatan that has ever run for president during my lifetime.
But that is just an observation about his campaign and how it reflect on him; I feel no actual hatred for the man. Both his parents are alcoholics. His father abandoned the family when little Felito (his first nickname) was just a toddler. He had a history of problems with alcohol himself starting at an early age which continued when he went to college. This is all well documented. His sister was an alcoholic and drug addict and died as a direct result of this.
I feel very sorry for Cruz, and I congratulate him for accomplishing as much as he has coming from such an awful situation. But he has shown repeatedly during this campaign that he is not fit to be president.
Now I fully expect you to continue screaming like a little girl that these are all hate filled talking points, and blah, blah, blah. So go to it. You haven’t made even one rational argument and have done nothing that helps your candidate.
