I do not have a candidate, but I will vote for whomever is the nominee. I cannot highlight nor build up a candidate bc they’re all appalling. I am just floored by trumps supporters defending behavior which I find totally indefensible. I can respect anyone voting for their choice but I what I cannot understand is how many excuse anything and everything he says/does, when so much of it is so troubling.
And I’m sorry but being offended by someone else’s opinion of your candidate is just ridiculous. People are entitled to their own opinions and just bc it is not the same as yours does not make it offensive or insulting, and comes across as being thin skinned, rather than confident.
I am reminded of what Christ said to those that sit in Moses (the lawgiver) seat.
This is not just a ‘democrat’ problem... There are just as many republicans that share the same ideology. God will judge.
Under our Constitution, homicide and marriage ARE state issues, simply because the text of the Constitution does not mention either subject.
But a state that legalizes homicide, or defines marriage in a way contrary to nature, should be expelled from the Union.
Utah was kept out of the Union until a revelation was received that outlawed polygamy.
By the same token, California and New York should have been expelled from the Union when they legalized abortion.
Also by the same token, all the states had the duty to secede from the Union immediately after Roe v. Wade.
Cruz is technically correct about “federalism,” but incorrect morally. Legalized abortion in ANY state, and gay marriage in ANY state, is not something the Union as a whole can tolerate, and survive.
...whoever is the nominee...
Since, objectively, it is vastly more important for the unborn to be free of being murdered in the womb than it is for the United States of America to continue in existence, from the morning of January 22, 1973, the United States of America have been doomed. The U.S. government ceased to be legitimate on that day. The growing chaos all around us is the result of the American People’s acceptance of abortion. Because the American People accept abortion, they have voted for people who are either pro-abortion fanatics or are complacent about abortion. Which is to say, the American People have been voting for 43 years for politicians who will slaughter them.
It’s not only on the Trump threads... it’s pretty much ANY thread :\
I usually don’t post much but I do read a lot.
The one thing that stands out glaringly is that Cruz supporters are some of the nastiest personal attackers I have seen in all my years of lurking. Oh sure there’s a few Trump supporters too but it’s usually in response from a Cruz supporters attack and that’s like hockey or any other sport the last person gets caught and the blame.
Just saying and Ann Coulter nails it in(truth) her article.
Very good points. The Governors need to reclaim their actual authority as intended in the 10th Amendment.
Actually I think any law legalizing murder, which of course includes killing of the unborn, is unconstitutional and should never be permitted to stand, and if the state refuses to submit, should be tossed out of the union. Currently, murder is so lightly penalized it is on its way to being tacitly legal, manslaughter this and that as well. Anyone murdering another human being should face execution, and not after decades of frivolous and costly appeals. If there is no doubt about guilt, I say give them a week to repent, and then execution.
I wonder why that is. I’ve noticed it on another site, too.
Like him or not, for him or not, if you’re a Freeper it’s likely he was shouted down for positions you too hold.
You’ve just made my point. If you are truly pro life then you would know the fine work the Priests for Life do. But like all Trump supporters he is always right and anyone who disagree is not conservative, is a rino or a commie. Your blind allegiance to this man is what is deplorable.
There you go again.....
.....pretending you know me.
I’m not Catholic.....
.....but it was the prolife Catholics here in my town years and years ago who caught my attention by their faithful stand for life.
When I wasn’t even aware of abortion......too busy with my children simply not......aware
I would read about them in the paper..........and my heart was stirred
They were a strong witness for life
And yes, eventually I did get involved....
Also, I never wrote anything against Priests for Life!!......
I referenced Operation Rescue.....
....and while they also did some good things....
....I was only saying Trump should be cautious.
