Knowing that it is a total waste of time but having time to waste, I will once again undertake that impossible task of pitting logic against emotion.
Many states have "Sore Loser" laws that prevent an individual who competes in a party primary from being on the ballot as an independent or third party candidate. A bona fide third party candidate has almost no chance to win and a "Sore Loser" candidate has none.
The 2000 some odd Cruz and Trump delegates will immediately become establishment delegates? I think Cruz could hold most of his delegates while picking some up.
Who is going to put this magic candidate into nomination? If he can reconcile the Cruz and Trump delegates immediately then he deserves the nomination. I don't buy the notion that the Trump and Cruz delegates are stealth establishment delegates. Paranoia runs rampant.
