No surprise. Just wait until 2nd ballot and the Trumpbots will be donning the suicide vests.

He married one too. Apparently Ted likes vipers or maybe he was just lying when he called the CFR a “den of vipers” and a “pernicious nest of snakes”.

>>>We still need Cruz to stay viable and hopefully stop Trump.

Trump is the DNC’s dream candidate. The only one whose “not honest and trustworthy” and unfavorable ratings are in the same league Hillary’s. And the only one who can share a possible court date as a defendant with her next summer.

“Trump is the DNC’s dream candidate.”

Just like 1980:

“Is defeat probable for GOP if Reagan wins nomination?”

You GOPe types simply REFUSE TO LEARN. We’ve seen show before, and it had a happy ending.

No kidding. Trump has lost more gop than he has gained.

Trump compared to Reagan?

I don’t think you want to go there.

“Trump compared to Reagan?...I don’t think you want to go there.”

Yep, Reagan was an EMBARRASSMENT. He could have done what Ike did and DEPORTED the MILLIONS OF ILLEGALS in his second term. Instead he gave them AMNESTY, handing California to the DEMOCRATS, and set us up on the on.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE - Hopefully Trump can start reversing this nightmare.

You seem to want the reverse of Reagan all right. If so, you got your guy.

Screw that! All Reagan did was buy us 8 years against the LIBERAL ADVANCE. I want someone to REVERSE IT. Someone to SEND THEM HOME, someone to allow us to say MERRY CHRISTMAS, someone to make me proud to be AMERICAN.

I am TOTALLY SICK of Reagan being put on a pedestal. While he was certainly better than Republicans prior (i.e., Nixon - who gave us the EPA) or Republicans after (i.e., Bush-41, who doubled-down on every liberal program), HE DID NOTHING to reverse this.

Reagan promised to end the federal DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION - HE DID NOT. He promised to get government OFF THE BACKS OF THE PEOPLE - he only stalled them - the minute Bush took office, they were back with back with FULL FURY.

So now we have a country FLOODED WITH ILLEGALS, in large part because we can’t compete in California with the Illegals that REAGAN LEGALIZED and one step from BEING FINISHED OFF - and yet SOME PEOPLE (i.e., Cruz supporters) still want the GOPe to select our candidate in November.

Sorry, but I am SICK OF IT.

We’ve had mass immigration before. Immigrants are not the problem.

Trump is selling you an America as victim.

The ONLY TIME that we had mass-migration of immigrants from South of the border - and allowed them to stay, turned California into a Latin American cesspool.

I have a BIG PROBLEM with that, because while I was able to easily leave California decades ago when this happened, it will MUCH HARDER for me (and my kids) to leave the United States when we elect someone (Democrat or Republican) that imposes this society on us nationally.

But yes, I agree, we have had HUGE NUMBERS of immigrants in the past (other than the above), pretty much ALL FROM EUROPE, or at least all Westerners. I’m all for that, and I expect MILLIONS of white European refugees to be fleeing here very soon, as the ‘solutions’ that your friends in the GOPe get imposed on their countries.

Thanks for your reply.

The same fear was held against Irish and other immigrants. The problem is not where immigrants come from either.

If we could magically stop all immigrants tomorrow, America would still be declining rapidly.

If we don’t properly identify our problems, we’re not going to begin to address them.

My problem with Trump on this issue is he is selling a false proposition: America is the victim of Mexico. We’re not.

“If we could magically stop all immigrants tomorrow, America would still be declining rapidly.”

Agree...we also have to end our systematic abusing of manufacturing.

“My problem with Trump on this issue is he is selling a false proposition: America is the victim of Mexico. We’re not.”

Agree also - I never agree with a victim mentality - we are the ones INVITING THEM IN, and many of us WANT THEM TO STAY...I certainly don’t blame them for trying to take advantage of what is likely to be a once in a lifetime offer.

I disagree. He has said we are the victims of bad leadership. Poor decisions, bad deals, etc.

‘My problem with Trump on this issue is he is selling a false proposition: America is the victim of Mexico. We’re not.”

I also disagreed - the Mexicans pushed for the best deal that they could get, it is not their fault that the Democrats and the GOPe who ‘negotiated’ with them were TOTAL IDIOTS.

>>>we also have to end our systematic abusing of manufacturing

And, again, we’re not victims being abused here. Japan is not the reason American auto manufacturers aren’t building better quality cars.

Increasing the cost of automobiles for Americans is not going to fix U.S. auto manufacturing.

With the exception of Abrams I don’t see a problem with these people. But they are ultimate insiders.
