Did Trump sell out in accepting Christie? And Gingrich? And Giuliani?

This is what happens.

Oh they are spinning like mad, that’s for sure.

So fast, in fact, that it’s flinging supporters into Trump’s orbit.

He’s in the running for the nomination, just like Trump.

I just quoted the article, don't blame me.

The GOPe lost Ohio, so it doesn’t matter who they run.
People here are PISSED that they were used, that the Governor was made to look like a fool.

Another National Review article that accomplishes nothing except to further isolate them from reality and shrink their circle jerk.

He is endorsing votes for Cruz for a contested election.
He is not endorsing Cruz for Presidential nominee.

They will use Cruz and then ditch him.

Cruz has had a free ride for a month while everyone was busy pretending Trump’s Mussolini - and he’s done nothing with it at all. Were it not for Texas Rubio would be in and Kasich would’ve dropped out. Cruz isn’t going to close up anything - he’s got the Texas delegates and some strays, no personality and an unctuous delivery everyone hates. They’re always the last to know.

All I am saying is Cruz isn’t winning.

However the people who have climbed into his corner recently, are the very people who have caused the huge problem with our entire party.

He appears to be making peace, with the people who are opposed by this very website.

Trump is solidly ahead, because Americans are getting fed up with the old, tired establishment.

They are sick of it.

That is what Cruz is starting to sound like. That is new, and I sure don’t approve of it.

However I am for Trump. So maybe I am biased.

But from here, it sure looks as if Cruz is selling out.

Just saying.

Dunno, but he darn sure sold out America for fun and profit when he contributed to Schumer, Clinton, and Reid.

Cruz has to have to votes. Otherwise it’s Trump’s.

Exactly right. Now here they are, with no other choice, coming to him — and he’s being lambasted for it; whereas, not too many weeks ago, recall the meme was all about him not getting along with, and his lack of support from, his colleagues.

“if Ted starts winning Trump will go ballistic with his NBC, liar crap.”

Fortunately, Trump does not have to worry about Cruz winning much. It is too bad that Dewhurst had incompetent opposition research guys who could not find out that Cruz was a NBC Canadian at the time. I would not have voted for Cruz if I had known that. I find it puzzling that the Dallas Morning News was able to find that out but the Dewhurst campaign could not.

Trump has never claimed to be a purist.

Cruz’s entire campaign is built on being a purist.

...and Cruz is just fine with it. He knows at this point that he can’t win, unless Trump drops out of the race. Ted is work hand in glove with his GOPe brethren.

Tucson to El Paso is only 315 miles driving.
Beaumont to El Paso is an 831 mile drive. So Arizona is closer to Texas than a lot of Texas is to other parts of Texas.

But to the merits - Cruz may win in Arizona. He’s gathering the support of Mormon opinion leaders (Beck, Romney) and there are a lot of Mormons in Arizona.
