Can’t use the term Christian Conservative when you have Glenn “the mormon” Beck and his violent behavior as Ted’s sidekick.

I rather enjoy the prospect of the GOPe forced to choose between Trump and Cruz.

Cruz also unveiled his campaigns 'National Security Coalition' Thursday, a group of men and women who will advise him on foreign policy issues
The coalition includes:
Former Missouri Republican Sen. Jim Talent
Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy
Former Assistant Secretary of State Elliott Abrams
Retired Lt. Gen. William G. Jerry Boykin
Frank Gaffney Jr. President and CEO of the Center for Security Policy.

The GOP will support Cruz for the most part because at least they know what he’s about......Trump isn’t consistent so there’s no telling what he will or won’t do... The adage “Comfort with the familiar”.

Too late for Cruz. His public meltdown ended his chances. Should've stayed above the fray, kept it clean, and let Trump implode. Everyone in the media and in both parties knew that was inevitable (read it on the internet, FOX News ran it, NRO ran it, RedState, even Tokyo Rove, Glenn Beck and Mitt Romney assured us, so it must've been true).

Ted’s dead baby, Ted’s dead...
Ted won’t be president and he will not be re-elected to Senate. He chose the low road and has run a very sleazy campaign to the point now where a large block of Republican voters not only would never vote for him, they would vote for Clinton to keep him from winning. He defines the term “unelectable”.

Do you see Dewhurst trying to run for the Senate again in 2018? Or maybe Wendy Davis?

You joined FreeRepublic just to tell me that?

Sen Cruz is the most conservative candidate since Reagan.
We can’t lose him.
He is so principled that he was against ethanaol subsidies in Iowas, and he STILL won!
