Donald Trump seems to think he has revolutionized political campaigns.

“Seems” being the operative word there.

Trump may think that way for now. If he needs to adjust that thinking, he will. He does so constantly on all issues. That’s how entrepreneurs do operate. They are like generals, they absorb what’s happening on the ground and adjust as needed. In the meantime they advance, advance, advance without mercy. Think Patton.

If true, his arrogance could be his downfall.

The Trump people called me to see if I would help with that stuff in Georgia. They have a GOTV in New Hampshire. Trump is not stupid. He wants to appear to be a magician and sui generis. Nothing wrong with that, but he has an operation.

Trump is not following contemporary political campaigning, yet, he fills 30,000+ seat stadiums and without spending a billion dollars to do it.

I don’t think he needs a “get out the vote” idiot to tell him how to run a campaign.

I’m starting to wonder if all these pundits relocated to Colorado.

Donald Trump seems to think he has revolutionized political campaigns.

So far he has. I suppose the test will be when people start actually voting.

Trump and Yeb Bush have both proven that spending lots of money does not mean that much.

GOTV is important when your candidate is viewed as an excrement sammich and you need to convince the base to turn out. People WANT to vote for Trump, they are excited to do so. News for the pundits, everything Trump does or says is GOTV.

Well my guess and I don’t blame Trump is that he just doesn’t want to put a lot of money out on Iowa. If he loses Iowa he will still win the other primaries. And he may well win Iowa anyway.

Oh My Gosh!!! I just wouldn’t know WHO to vote for if it weren’t for cars plastered in bumper stickers, neighbors lawns filled with campaign signs, or the volunteers knocking on my door letting me know who to vote for.

I think the only thing that will stop Trump is him getting complacent and just sitting on his lead.

He’s running a NATIONAL CAMPAIGN, no need to try to message some subset of states to put together 51% of the Electoral Votes. He’ll likely wind up with well over 70%, maybe over 80%.

The Republican elites simply NEVER CONSIDERED that type of campaign, so they figure it cannot work.

LOL!
