Exactly, I suspect Ted is not rolling in hard money at this point. He’s been spending a lot lately.
Thanks for pointing that out.
Except that Trump has a 26-year-long history of leaning left-moderate. He’s the guy to continue that, even though he blasts and badmouths the GOPe and political correctness as he does so.
There’s a lot of wildly over-optimistic belief in crossover democrats running out to vote for Rump but I’m not seeing any evidence of a surge in voter registrations being changed anywhere.
The only crossover democrats I know are the liberals who want to play games with the GOP primary but will vote for Clinton.
I myself will never vote for a liberal.
Seriously?
So true. Cruz is the only true conservative, true blue American patriot.
Ignore the ignorant, childish trolls. I like Cruz but, my God, some of his worshippers on this site behave like uneducated, obnoxious children.
I plan on voting for Cruz but will vote for Trump if he’s the nominee. Cruz & Trump are our only choices.
“Cruz is FAR right of Reagan. Although if he were a true constitutional conservative he wouldnât be running due to his eligibility.”
Ah, now it comes out. You see guys. More proof over 90% of Trump Supporters on FR are Cruz Birthers. Anything they say should be taken with a grain of salt because they’re already disconnected from reality. There really needs to be a list of these people so we stop wasting our time with them because they have a hidden agenda.
Watch when Cruz wins IA, it’ll only get worse as these people will retreat back to the birtherism in order to attack Cruz. Pathetic.
We need to stop wasting our time with people making numerical claims right before expressing the need to quantify them, and not noticing the contradiction.
I was one of the earliest Obama birthers but I recognized it as little more than a means of liberal infiltration. After all, it did come out of the Clinton camp to begin with.
Typical Alinsky tactic. People don’t suspect people who agree with them.
I do think Obama is hiding something but I don’t think it has anything to do with his eligibility.
Blue-collar are not intellectual, Cruz is. He doesn’t resonate with them.
Ted Cruz resonates with me and I’m a typical Michigan blue collar type with decades in factories both union and non union.
Call them "Charlie Brown Conservatives."
“blue collar” doesn’t mean “unions” any more, it means “taxpayers.”
I realize that the official stand of Free Republic is that Cruz is eligible to run for President.
If I learned the meaning of the Constitution in middle school and then in depth in high school civics and government, I am quite sure he learned the meaning in Harvard Law.
A lot of men fought and died to give us this country and our founders laid out their vision for it in our Constitution. They were very clear that our President should be a step above the rest of the government, that he should be a natural born citizen. They wanted to ensure that the leader of the country had no foreign ties.
Obama should have never been president, even if he was born in Kansas City. He had/has foreign ties and that is obvious now to all. He was not and is not eligible.
Cruz and Rubio are not eligible either. Of course now the laws have been picked apart, we argue the meaning of “is” and because now we want our turn, no one will stand up and say this is not right.
Most here will agree Rubio has divided loyalties, he is a big supporter of immigrants like himself. We don’t like his policies so it’s easy to say he is not eligible and the courts are wrong.
Everyone likes Cruz so suddenly the arguments change. Of course he’s eligible because he is so smart and a constitutional scholar so he would know and we happily take his word for that. This is a man who did not give up his Canadian citizenship until a couple of years ago. Whose father didn’t even bother to become a citizen until 35 years after Cruz was born.
We have turned our country over to foreigners and are dancing happily down the road to our demise. The road to hell is paved with good intentions but it still leads to hell.

Exactly.
Cruz has been at this almost a year now and is the top fund rsiser. I dont think the GOPe can turn off the money since his comes from us little people.
Is Ted Cruz a natural-born citizen eligible to serve as president? [Yes! And I support him! JimRob]

This is a free country (at least for awhile longer) and you are entitled to your opinion.
I am also entitled to my opinion and I believe your good intentions are helping our march to hell.
Past any legal arguments, common sense would say that you do not want someone with divided loyalties setting the course for our country.
This is not something I want to continue to argue. I obviously can’t change your mind and you cannot change mine.
