‘White supremacists’ shoot Black Lives Matter protesters

They were wearing masks and the kiddie protestors were bully them - shoving them. Could have been blacks shooting blacks and blaming whitey again. We’ll see.

If a large group of blacks asks several whites to leave, then follows them and screams and pushes them, the shooting is self defense.

I doubt any court or jury would buy a self defense plea if they only scream at you or push someone...

Draw a weapon, threaten to kill you, punches you...maybe a different story...

I was reading some articles online around 6pm CST.

Eyewitness accounts said that a group of “protesters” charged at the counter protesters (as they were leaving). Some accounts said that at least one of the counter protesters was punched (in the face?). There is some thought that the shooting may have been self-defense (one person was shot in the stomach, one in the knee, one in the arm, not sure about the others). The stomach injury (internal organs) would appear to be the most serious. It may not have been lethal force in the other cases (no attempted murder charge) and it certainly wasn’t a group doing a driveby shooting of protesters.

At least one of the apprehended men is Hispanic so there goes the “white supremacists” meme.

Reportedly these (or possibly people affiliated with them) had been coming to the event to heckle or counter protest. No examples of hate speech (or any of the counter speech) were reported. One of the accounts said that only one of the men was masked. Some speculation was that one of the counter protesters was videoing the BLM protest and may have wanted anonymity.

If the protesters were paid to stage a BLM protest, is this workplace related violence?
