You are right in one respect. (And let me say, I am a Cruz supporter so my defense of Trump is not because he’s my candidate.)

I notice Trump’s speeches and interviews, in general, are devoid of particulars. He is a big picture guy. His business interests are probably operated in the same way. He has ideas, and others developed and execute. He surrounds himself with the type of people who can manage details.

We need detail guys and we need big picture, big idea people. Our current president is a big picture guy—G-d help us. He is very effective at having his czars and others expand and execute what he thinks are bright ideas. We hate his ideas, for the most part, but we can’t argue with his effectiveness.
