It’s a sad day when journalists don’t know about “metaphors” or “analogies” or “allegories”. That’s what they get for hiring Journalism majors
The best analogy is that of the circus elephant, who is tied to the stake as a baby, and learns that no matter how hard they try, they cannot escape, they accept this will be the case forever, even when they grow up and they are easily strong enough to escape, but because they are conditioned to believe they can’t, they don’t even try.
America has been turned into a hedonistic, godless cesspool, and you really have to ask that question?
Agreed friend.
One problem with that poster. The Park Service is not under the Department of Agriculture. It’s under the Department of Interior.
History repeats itself and I see Rome in everything going on now. As Dad used to say, “I’m on my way out and the rest of you will have to sort it out.” I’ve done some prepping, but need to step it up.
I assume it is essentially the same message.
Absolutely. If they wanted to do a message and keep it in the Dept. of Agriculture for the example, they could use the Forest Service. They're under Agriculture, and have the same signs.
If the shoe fits....
We are known by our actions. If you don’t what to be called an animal don’t act like one.
Nothing but dangerous pets... and not at all endearing.
