Cruz or Walker, those are the guys. If either of them wants to make Rubio the veep, I’m OK with that.

“I think Rubio has made some changes to his “Immigration” Doctrine and I think he will work with Tea Partiers and Conservatives.”
Hahahaha. Rubio takes heart, because there’s a sucker born every minute.

"are some of you going to stay home or vote for Hillary if Rubio is the nominee?" Those are not our only options. And why would we want to do either? Voting for either of them sends the message that we support what they stand for. And electing either gets virtually the same end result.
I am stating to think that perhaps we need to for once stand up to the establishment and write in a vote for Cruz. Like I already said, we get the same liberal values government either way, but masses of write in votes for Cruz would definitively say to the GOP establishment that we won't support them anymore. If by some miracle there are future elections, this message would be powerful.

Well, APD, I hate to say this because I am a dyed-in-the-wool FReeper, but our numbers are not large enough to be "masses of write-in votes". If every FReeper who is a member of this website wrote in the same name for POTUS, split among 50 states, it would not affect the Election but about .99999 of 1 percent and the RINO hierarchy would NOT get the message like they would in a Congressional race. But, follow your conscience. It doesn't matter because I seriously think Hillary Clinton or some other radical, left-winger, Alinsky-style DemocRAT will be the next POTUS and will complete the destruction that B. Hussein Obama started. This great Republic is pretty well finished. At my age, I might not be here to see it's total demise; thank God.

Jeb “Mush” is the worst kind of Republican. Principles softer and more malleable than mozzarella. He will sell us out in a heartbeat and there is a reason why the only people really cheering him on are liberals and the media.

(Obama..Incompetent, Untrustworthy, Lawless, Arrogant. The one that our founders warned us about.)
Here are the hopefuls, by party, some have declared, there may be some I've forgotten to list, I've boldfaced my two (and only two) favorites and put strikes through the unacceptable candidates (that could grow):
Pubbies (five declared, three to five more within a couple of weeks):
- Ben Carson [declared]
- Bobby Jindal (gov of LA)
- Carly Fiorina [declared]
Chris Christie (gov of NJ) Donald TrumpJeb Bush- John Kasich (gov of OH)
Lindsey Graham- Marco Rubio [declared]
Mike Huckabee [declared] Rick PerryRick Santorum- Sarah Palin
- Scott Walker
- Ted Cruz [declared]
other possible candidates:
- Brian Sandoval
- Kelly Ayotte
- Mike Pence
- Mitch Daniels
- Nikki Haley (gov of SC)
- Peter King
- Susana Martinez (gov of NM)
Demwits (2 declared, rest possible or probable):
Bernie Sanders (I-VT) [declared] Bill A.K.A. DeBlasioElizabeth WarrenHillary Clinton [declared] Martin O'MalleyRand Paul [declared]
other possible candidates:
Amy KlobucharAndrew CuomoBrian SchweitzerDennis KucinichJim WebbJoe BidenKirsten GillibrandLincoln ChafeeMark Warner
Here are some combos that make sense to me at this time:
- Ted Cruz, with running mate Donald Trump
- Ted Cruz, with running mate Carly Fiorina
- Ted Cruz, with running mate John Kasich
- Ted Cruz, with running mate Peter King
- Ted Cruz, with running mate Ben Carson
- Ted Cruz, with running mate Mike Huckabee
- Scott Walker, with running mate Susana Martinez
- Scott Walker, with running mate Marco Rubio
- Scott Walker, with running mate Brian Sandoval
- Scott Walker, with running mate Ben Carson
- Scott Walker, with running mate Nikki Haley
- Scott Walker, with running mate Carly Fiorina
- Scott Walker, with running mate Kelly Ayotte
- Scott Walker, with running mate Peter King
