Because her presence on the ticket limits the dems’ whole “war on women” demagoguery. Also, the repubs have been losing the middle class working woman’s vote for years now, and I think Fiorina helps bring some of them back.
Plus, LA is going republican whether Jindal is on the ticket or not.
Jindal is kind of the wildcard here. I’d like to see how he fares on the national stage. One thing for sure the GOP does have a deep bench of decent to great candidates for president.
Cruz/Walker because of the chance to get Wisconsin or at least to be more competitive in midwestern states than usual. Cruz/Rubio. Well, you can’t discount the importance of Florida, but I doubt you’ll see two Hispanics on the same ticket.
CRUZ/PALIN or PALIN/CRUZ.
see my post 24. And seriously, you think LA is going Republican? You need to back away from the bar my fried, you have had one to many.
Sorry my friend, you meant Louisiana, not LaLa land.
I am a native Californian, any time I see LA in caps the only place I can think of is the southern cesspool.
Rubio can’t be on the same ticket with Jeb since they both reside in Florida and the electors can vote for no more than one person from their own state. If the Republican ticket won narrowly, taking Florida, then the Florida electors would have to vote for someone other than the VP nominee, throwing the election for VP into the Senate where each Senator would have one vote. So if the Republicans had retained control of the Senate it might work but it is a risky way to go about it.
