What a joke.
The Republicans hate the TEA Party more than the Democrats ever have.

Lord you mean the GOP is just now using techniques that the libtards have been using for the past 6 years and the libtards don’t like it? Seems the GOP is a little slow and playing catchup

Nonsense. The left is getting an early start. What pure unadulterated propaganda, as only Salon can promulgate. Nonsense!

Some mighty creative journalism efforts here. A whole lot of nothing, about nothing, which describes nothing.

Salon is not our friend. If they’re writing about us, their sole motive is to cause trouble. They just got their asses kicked in; if they don’t divide republicans, they’re toast again in 2016 when the run without the guy with the automatic 12% boost and 110% turnout from a certain minority community.

I wish the GOP was as clever and devious as Salon thinks it is

Lots of yammering about the dangers of allocating electors based on House districts, but not one mention of the two states, Nebraska and Maine, which already do it that way.

It is the first Alinsky rule I ever memorized (well, sort of).
Charge your opponent with what you are already doing so when the media reports it your opponent will get the hit and not you. That will be your cover to do want you want unimpeded.

"Constitutional hardball tears at the fabric of our constitutional order, which is bound up in those norms." This is just the pot calling the kettle black.
If legalizing abortion, gay "marriage", gays in the military, transgenders in the military and any bathroom they please, the establishment of a Department of Education, the establishment of Social Security and Medicare, the misuse of the 14th Amendment to protect corporations from criminal behavior, and the overreach of the interstate commerce clause don't constitute 'constitutional hardball' I don't know what does.

In the absence of a full national recount plus the inclusion of non-counted mail in ballots in the 2000 election, I refuse to acknowledge Al Gore Junior’s “0.51%” (half a percent) popular vote tally.

Kinda hard to elect a Tea Party President when the Oligarchs use the IRS to hammer Tea Party organizations.
