I have a young acquaintance who was in JROTC a couple of years ago at her high school, in a black and hispanic area. JROTC was a p.e. class. It was full of people who didn’t feel like doing regular p.e., not people who cared about military service. These would be the people who were marching in your parade on Veterans Day— people cruising along for their required p.e. credit.

How is Sarah wrong? DHS and several other government agencies have been buying up ammunition like never before. For example, why would the Social Security Administration need 174,000 rounds of .357 Sig 125 grain bonded jacketed hollow point pistol ammunition? What’s with the NOAA ordering 46,000 rounds — also of hollow point ammunition? Since March, DHS has ordered 1.5 billion rounds, nearly half of which are hollow-point and/or wall-penetrating.
If you want to buy the line it’s all for “training,” go on ahead. I’m not so gullible.

Hollow points are the only type of pistol rounds used by DHS for practice.

Well everywhere I’m hearing how ammo is getting increasingly difficult to find so it could be to partially deplete the ammo supply available as well.

Who in our government are you calling potential Nazis ? The National Guard ? Local law enforcement? The capital police? The Marines ? Or secret black helicopters with Men in Black willing to act as Obamas pratoreon guard? All of the above.

That thought is occurring to a lot of real patriots lately. I’m guessing they are probably in lockdown in underground bunkers somewhere probably guarded by the military or HS. Hopefully they are manned by soldiers that are real patriots. With the right persuasion they might turn their heads and allow the stockpile to be “relocated” systematically over time...: )
To: Yosemitest
You’re closer to the truth than you know. The point of the government buying all this ammo isn’t that they need it for some sort of uprising. It is that it is helping drive up the cost of ammo and making it less available for most of us.

I was in the Corps stationed on Pendleton when the LA Riots broke out in the 90s. We were ordered to get staged and be ready to crush that.
I'll just say this. We were hesitant NOT.

I'm retired military.
Homeland Security's upper management doesn't trust the military, so they're storing it on their own.
Most military weapons storage bunkers are ground level with dirt pushed against it and over the top.
If a person knew what buildings the HSA were using to store their ammo,
I wonder how man full length mirrors from Walmart, and demonstrators focusing those mirrors on that building ... it would take to overheat that building, so that the ammo would cook off.
After all, it's OUR money that paid for that ammo, and
WE SHOULDN'T ALLOW ITS USE AGAINST US !

"I wonder how man full length mirrors from Walmart ..."
CORRECTION:
I wonder how MANY full length mirrors from Walmart ... and demonstrators focusing those mirrors on that building ... it would take to overheat that building, so that the ammo would cook off.

I was going to say the same thing. That the government and the people both are arming up for when the line gets crossed and the shooting starts. And the arming up started when Buckwheat got elected, and then arms and ammo acquisition accelerated when Buckwheat got re-elected.

I just call it as I see it. I've no patience for stupidity.
And I am too old to bother with the pleasantries.
BTW, I didn't once consider naming him an assclown in my reply, it seemed beyond the pail for such a stupid carbon unit.
Just sayin.

Our tax money is paying for it, so it doesn't belong to the government.
That ammo belongs to US !
So let's go get it !

Debating the “Sarah is the best American since George Washington crowd” combined with the “Black Helicopter Crowd” would be an exercise in futility.

If you read some of my other posts you would see that it don’t trust the government. However I’m not inclined to indulge in hysteria over what is essentially a non issue.

Hollow points are used for training that is a fact. DHS has always used hollow points for practice. Hollow points were used for practice by the legacy agencies before DHS was created . I know that doesn’t jive with your CIVIL War II fantasies but it is the fact nonetheless.

My point was that a lot of "non-issues" have come back to bite i=us over the decades and when it comes to the Left, I put nothing past them - the more reasonable their arguments sound, the more wary I get. God Bless for your service - I'm part of that same oxymoron that has the words "government" and "intelligence" in the same sentence. Is your current patrol area/mission as heavily influenced by the politics of the day as many others appear to be?
