Doesn't work. Over the last year (especially), the media has shown that any word, any word at all, can be twisted to be a racist "dog whistle". Hence, words like "lazy", "golf", and even "Chicago" have been deemed "racist".

“Shuckin’ and jivin’” has entered mainstream English. Sarah Palin wasn’t racist to use it. No one was racist when they said Obama is lazy. I cannot help Colin’s racial paranoia, but I won’t respect it and give in to it either.
Obama is one of the laziest Presidents we’ve ever had. And he ‘shucks and jives’ darn near every time there is a camera turned on.

Actually, I haven't because I never listened/watched the illegal resident since '08. I made the exception for the debates between Romney and him. So I thought they were settled in with their voter fraud but FEAR still exists with the lazy colin spewing out his hate with BS. Like it was for four years +, no Republican stood up for her. I'd like to see what really is in Allen West. For sure, we know Romney won't nor any of rest clamoring for our vote.

If Powell's example isn't bad enough, then I submit Barack Hussein Obama as being the reason why Affirmative Action should be ended, and all taxpayer dollars used to fund those programs should be returned to the hardworking, taxpayers of this country.
Powell is as delusional as his wife, I suspect he's been dipping into her med's.
First black Secretary of State, Check. Under a Republican President no less. Check.
Maintains his "allegiance" to the Republican party, Check. Yet endorsed Obama for President.
Now, if the Republican Party were racist, why was it the first (and as yet, ONLY) political party to appoint a black to the role of Secretary of State for the US?
If the Republican Party were racist, why does Powell maintain his alleged "allegiance" to it?
If the Republican Party were racist, why under G.W. Bush was a black woman named Condoleeza Rice named Secretary of State?
Why was a black woman, Condoleeza Rice a Republican President's National Security Advisor, one of the most trusted roles a President has?
Powell really needs to stay out of his wife's medication... and personally I'd love to see some brash, young, Tea Party member confront Powell with these questions. I can't think of anyone better than .... Sarah Palin.
