Exactly. But you MUST be a liberaltarian if you want that to end. If you want the War on Guns to End. The War on Individualism. The War on Sanity. The War on Constitutional Law. The War on Private Property. The War on Poverty. The War on Fat. The War on Sugar. The War on common morals. The War on Marriage. The War on Tobacco... The statists use these "War on XXXX" to exert control over the people! Where in the Constitution does it authorize a "War on Drugs"? It doesn't!

Why are you replying to me with this for? I'm posting about the Constitutionality of the War on Drugs and the toll it's taking on the populace, not about teenagers using drugs and being fair game for sex. That seems to be your deal, some sick sh!t, man!

Well, if you want to legalize crack and cocaine for kids, you lose a vast majority of support right there

No. No it doesn't. The exist because of Wickard Vs. Filburn. A horrible case of Judicial activism that gives a LOT of unjust and unConstitutional power to the FedGov.
However, it let's the Nanny State fight anything and everything they see as a "vice". To retain that power? Screw it, let the Commies take over as long as they can keep folks from hurting themselves in unapproved ways...

No one is even implying that. Your strawman argument won’t work no matter how many times you give it another whirl...

I'm starting to come around to the legalization of pot only because, at the rate we're going, it's going to be the only freedom we have left.
That, and getting an abortion.
To: StevenCrowder
Ha haaaaaa!!!
Fave part: Girl says "it's natural" to which Crowder says, "So's uranium".
Committing that one to memory.

Itll be far easier for kids to get drugs when its legal to sell it to them. Nobody advocates making it legal to sell drugs to kids. Teens report that they can get the illegal-for-adults drug pot more easily than legal-for-adults beer or cigarettes; the evidence is that the most effective way to keep pot out of teens' hands is to legalize it for adults - so sellers have an incentive not to sell to kids (namely, the loss of their legal adult sales).

The War on (some) Drugs has done far more harm than all of the pot smoking in history.LOL!
Oh. Wait. You were serious.
To: StevenCrowder
the THC content has increased from approx 1% to often 30%. That was grotesque book-cooking by former drug czar John "Liar" Walters - comparing 1960s ditch weed to today's rarest boutique products. Even Walters quickly backed off the '30-fold increase' claim.

This equates your attack on libertarians how again? "Acts of Capitalism between consenting Adults".
Please note the "adult" part.

Im not a prohibitionist. Make it legal in your state, fine!
That's good to hear.
Do you support making it legal in your state?

Nice to see that you’ll now publicly advocate for the repeal of all Federal drug laws and the defunding and disbanding of the DEA.
Glad to have you aboard.

“Legalize it and tax the heck out of it. $50 for a pack of pot. Take the profit out of it for cartels and dealers.”
Then the mob will move in and sell _lllegal_ (untaxed) packs for $35 a pack.
Same routine as they do _now_ with cigarettes (in the high-tax states).

No one ever died of a marijuana overdose, but that’s not the only way to be harmful. It impares your judgement, which is why you can’t do the same sort of things you can’t do while drunk on it. It also damages the lungs in a manner similar to other kinds of smoking, although the overall effect is milder than cigarettes, for instance, because you don’t smoke as many of them.
