Look, I used to despise Romney too, and thought that maybe just for cathartic purposes or something, kind of like a medieval bloodletting for health, we should reelect O. But that would be confirmation of O’s socialist pro-gay pro-illegal policies, all for a small brownie point that conservatives stuck to their purity and didn’t deign to vote for RR.

A couple things have changed in my view of Romney. One, his debate #1 performance, I thought it was unabashed conservative. I really didn’t see any waffling toward the middle, as MSNBC tried to portray.

And on the key issue of immigration, in debate 2, though RR has been low key on the issue, he confirmed that he isn’t going to do amnesty, and ROMNEY IS GOING TO INSTITUTE E-VERIFY! That will be critical to stemming illegal immigration and the illegals to leave, and O is not going to do it, and sop with O the next thing we know the electorate will be overwhelmed by illegals that vote Dem & socialist.

No, conservatives, vote Romney, not Obama.

I'm voting for the hopeful implosion of MSNBC and anything that helps utterly destroy the credibility of the MSM, which I believe is as big of a threat to the nation as obama.

I think we should also consider that even in a solid blue state, a vote counts towards the popular vote. The closer the popular vote, the more they will attempt to contest the electoral vote imho.

The closer the popular vote, the more the MSM can claim that their messiah actually won.

I pray for an election that damages the MSM.

Gary Johnson is an open borders/free trader and Virgil Goode was a Democrat. They both have warts as large as Romney’s.

THIS is not the PRIMARY.....vote for Libertarian in the General is a VOTE FOR OBAMA...whether you like it or not....that’s the result. WORK within the GOP to CHANGE them...that’s what hundreds of thousands of us are doing....not going to shoot ourselves in the foot just because we don’t have the “PERFECT” candidate.

This sounds good on the surface, but NO, DON'T DO IT!!! Don't go 3rd party, even in a solid Dem state.

Here's why: For Romney to score a clean win, he's got to win both the Electoral College AND the popular vote.

Now suppose Romney wins the EC, but loses the popular vote by a sliver, say 50,000 votes. Sure, he'd be president, but he'd be dogged by the popular vote loss. It would be a stone around his neck that he just doesn't need.

Beyond that, there would probably be riots over the popular vote winner (Obama in this scenario) being “denied” his victory.

Knock it off...Vote for Romney

I live in the deepest of the Blue States - MA - I’m voting for Romney...and I don’t even like him :)

(Thank goodness there’s no strong “Perot” in this race)

We are not only voting against Barack Obama, but we are also voting against Eric Holder, Kathleen Sebelius, Janet Napalitano, Hillary Clinton and her apparently soon to come replacement John “I was in VietNam” Kerry, Valerie Jarrett and the rest of the Obama Chicago Thug Machine.

Think about it.

Well, I'm in Deep Blue California and four Votes for Romney / Ryan were cast in my household.

Since I believe in Miracles, I refuse to give in to the CA Democrats (Communists) and the Obama Regime (Communists)without a fight. Lots of other people and issues on the Ballot that needed our support as well.

Oh yeah, one other thing.

Exactly what do you think will be accomplished with your Grand Bargain? This question is coming from a 1992 Perot Voter, so I know what can happen when a Third, Fourth or Fifth Party Candidate robs Votes from the Republican.

To this day I regret my Political ignorance of 20 years ago.

I know the mantra, a vote for Gary Johnson is a vote for Obama

How about, a vote for Gary Johnson is a vote that shows you are incapable of simple reasoning or math. People vote for Gary Johnson for one of two reasons, a big pumped up ego that thinks you are better than everyone else and won't soil yourself in the trenches getting rid of Obama, or two, you like pot.

Ok,maybe I am wrong here but what about the states that have passed the “popular vote” laws?Even if Romney doesn't win enough to get to 279,but wins the popular vote, there are 8 states that have passed laws to give their EC votes to the popular vote winner.Wouldn't that burn them up,because the states that have passed it are Maryland,New Jersey,Illinois.Hawaii,California,Vermont,Washington,Massachusetts, and Washington DC.I realize this isn't techincally legally legal without being authorized by congress but it would be interesting to see what they would do.They have passed the laws, but they intended them to be used for the benefit of the dimocraps!
