Exit polls in SC said that Newt won independents 31% to 25% over Romney.

Liberals don't let facts get in the way of their arguments; it doesn't matter if they are a Democrat or a Republican!

I don’t accept the premise that Romney has better electability. He would be extremely weak during a populist election, which this could very well be. Worse yet, nominating Romney would give Obama a wide opening to be the populist candidate.

Fact is both have their skeletons, but Newt is a better choice on conservative principles and on electability. Ethics charges, the usual politics won’t matter in a populist revolt.

The most important number is unemployment in November 2012. If it’s still high, this country would elect Jeff Davis if he promised 5% unemployment.

No one else is capturing the mood of conservatives most Americans as eloquently as Newt.

There, I fixed it for you. I have more than fifty family members who are liberal, life-long Teamster members who will NOT vote for Obama a second time - PERIOD! The first time around they followed union orders and voted for him, but they will NOT make that same mistake!

Many life-long Democrat are starting to realize the lies in the media and the unions. I truly believe that many Americans (Democrat, Republican and independent) have had their eyes and ears opened by this blatant push for the death of capitalism! They each have their problems with capitalism, but they know very well that socialism, fascism and/or communism are NOT the answer! They know that this maybe the last stand for America!

GOP Establishment to conservatives: "EAT YOUR PEAS! VOTE FOR MITT!"

conservatives to GOP Establishment: [well, I can't repeat it here, but it's what Dick Cheney said to Sen. Patrick Leahy]

It’s all talk. Just like (I hope and pray) it’s all talk here.

We have people ranting and raving, if so and so gets the nomination, I’ll .... I’ll ... I’ll vote third party, I’ll write in George Clooney, I won’t vote.

So childish. The sane among us will vote for the Republican nominee and won’t make childish noises about better to have Obama than so and so.

Unless, a devil emerges from hell to run, anybody is better than Obama.

Romney does not have conservatism in his heart; therefore, he can't articulate it. Newt doesn't seem to have this problem.

That was what attracted me to Sarah Palin - no one stated conservative ideas with more conviction than the Mama Grizzly.

I think the majority of people already know they are voting for ANYONE other than Obummer.

Nothing on this Earth would EVER get me to vote for Mitt. I loathe him and his slimy staff -- all they do is destroy any and all conservatives.

Mitt is a devout Liberal Socialist. At least Obama is right party to match his beliefs.

Why in the world should conservatives choose another liberal who comes from a state that hasn’t voted Republican since Ronald Reagan ran? In fact, no one from a “blue state” should even be considered for the nomination. They have had no influence on the politics of their own state, so why should conservatives from “red states” bail them out with their votes?

There is a huge problem with their independent caculation.

Conservatives are 40% of the electorate and the vast majority of the GOP base. Mittens is not inspiring and they won’t run out to vote for him.

I am tired of these stupid freaks of nature sticking their fingers into the eyes of victory. We only need one socialist party.

You Betcha were not takin orders!

The GOP Elite AKA GOPE AKA Go Pee is playing right into our hands by exposing themselves. We can now identify the enemy they’re no longer hidded by their camo.

Michael Raegen explained the Goldwater/Rockefellow branches, but IMO it’s gone beyond that, It’s now the people and against those entrenched within government: the congress that has such low ratings, the lying manipulative MSM that covers or are too lazy to do any research, just repeating the memes released to them from their partners in crime.

The silent majority will NOT be silenced or manipulated or controlled, We ARE madder than hell!

It’s really stupid of the “ins”. If Newt’s the nominee, he’ll try his darndest to get a Republican House and Senate.
