The C-Span conversation between Newt and Huntsman demonstrated a good rapport between both men. They were each knowledgable and high class. I believe Huntsman would be a supportive and strong SOS - if Bolton declines.
A time for healing after the primaries will see a lot of coalescing from the adults.

We need Susana Martinez to stay here in NM for awhile. Marco Rubio is the best VP choice for any of the candidates. He delivers Florida without a fight. He coalesces conservatives, and he gets Hispanic votes.

I have had no use for him or American Spectator since he maxed out for Franken.

Of course Huntsman should be on the ticket -— he can deliver the all-important Utah electoral votes.

I had wandered far away in the store from Big Wifey and suddenly I could not see her any longer. I got frightened. What if she were gone? What if I were alone without my wife? I was totally scared. I don't want to be 67 and alone. Or any age and alone. Most people develop a sense of "object permanence" before they're 67 months old, much less 67 years.
To: sodpoodle
FWIW, I also think Hunstman could be OK as long as you can keep him far, far aware from anything which has to do with Gorebul Warming. In some ways, he reminds me of a sane version of Ron Paul.

Oh my gosh! For real?
Still a cowardly pussy, and a Democrat to boot, eh Ben?
I used to subscribe to American Spectator, but Stein’s ulcerative neuroses and unrelenting, shameless, fearfulness, was painful and embarrassing to read.

Huntsman is a big government, pseudo-conservative, nanny stater with an over-developed sense of elitist noblese oblige. He doesn't think the “little people” are capable of making their own decisions, so it's up to their “betters” to do it for them. The guy is so oily and smarmy, he practically oozes insincerity.

Agree completely.

I could go for Hunstman as veep. It puts him in a place that doesn’t really do a whole lot, yet keeps him in the news enough for pictures of his daughters to still be relevant.
