No surprise the next reckless liar about Cain rushes to this thread.
Here a notion for you. Don’t race around here screaming childish personal attacks on every thread at Cain. Try making a case FOR your candidate for once.
Especially when one considers that TARP, successful or not, was the impetus for the subsequent bailouts and Obama’s $787-billion spending/stimulus bill shoved down the throats of the American people.
TARP was wrong, the auto bailouts were wrong, the WSt bailouts were wrong and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac bailouts were wrong. The Feds are out of control and these phony conservatives who stand on the side of bailouts as good for America, are wrong wrong wrong... pissing in the wind!
couldn’t agree more.....K.I.S.S.....Keep It Simple Stupid, but I’d like to see Mulally stay @ Ford, because I hold Ford Stock.
You might really want to rethink your tactics.
Long after this election people are going to remember your chosen tactics.
Really want to be remembers as a shameless liar and childish personal attack bot?
Respect is earned and can be easily lost.
You are are busy losing any respect you might of ever have had here
So what?
Initially, in 2008, I “considered” supporting Obama. Then, I did my homework and realized that he was a Communist and ineligible to be President under the Natural-Born clause (father not a U.S. citizen).
So, I ended up supporting McCain (who I loathe), because there wasn’t anyone else palatable on the ticket (thank God for Sarah Palin who added a pinch of salt to the ticket).
What’s your point?
Agreed. Romney is a phony and a fraud. Just because he's spent the last 4 years running for potus should be of no consequence to conservatives. While McCain followed the leadership of Reagan in the 80`s, he has come to reject conservatism in favor of more moderate and liberal policies. Through it all, however, McCain has remained pro-life, pro-gun, pro-military. Three big issues that Willard fails on, time and again.
Btw, there is one way to stop dealing with the Cain lackeys. Ignore the dummies!
>> Anyone who thinks McCain is more liberal than Romney is a political moron. >>
Not so fast - there is about equal amounts to dislike with both of them. While what you said is true, you are ignoring the fact that McCain is much more liberal on all business and tax and regulatory issues than Romney and is much quicker to criticize other Republicans and conservatives in the media than Romney is.
This is not to support Romney. This is to properly put McCain in context.
That’s a whole lotta ignoring these days!
>> The fact that some people see no problem with the TARP bailout is very troubling. Especially when one considers that TARP, successful or not, was the impetus for the subsequent bailouts and Obamas $787-billion spending/stimulus bill shoved down the throats of the American people.
TARP was wrong, the auto bailouts were wrong, the WSt bailouts were wrong and Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac bailouts were wrong.>>
Much of that is true, but much of it isn’t. No one who supported TARP did so while “seeing no problem with it.” That’s a straw man argument.
And the auto bail outs and Fannie and Freddie are all very different from TARP. Once again, do you know the difference between a loan and a hand out? Really, it’s not that hard of a concept to figure out.
You are right, as I was looking at it from the social side mainly since that’s where I tend to begin analyzing a candidate if he is “more liberal.”
McCain is an economic liberal, you are correct. Romney is much better on that side.
“We don’t intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals of our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the party over to the so-called moderates wouldn’t manke any sense at all.” - Ronald Reagan
As found in “The Age of Reagan: The Fall of the Old Liberal Order, 1964-1980” by Steven F. Hayward, page 96.
Cheers
Ack!
Erratum: “wouldnt manke any” should be “wouldn’t MAKE any”
Cheers
Anybody wants to use it feel free to help your self to a copy. But you have to host it yourself.
I liked #1 and #6 the best! All of them are pretty good and get right to the point!
Great marketing IMO
Anyone who wants one, help your self. Just save it to your computer and host it somewhere yourself.
Thanks! Saved!
“Cute, but you know that he only spoke out supporting one small part of TARP (well before it was implemented), he never fully supported TARP or Bailouts as you bear false witness of.”
Yep, and he came out as early as January 2009 criticising TARP and warning about future bailouts
Who Cares About $350 Billion?
January 19, 2009
By Herman Cain
So who cares about a Senate vote to spend another $350 billion?
I do.
I care about out-of-control federal spending. I care about the first half of the TARP authorization that has yielded questionable results. Banks are still not stimulating the financial system with business lines of credit and new loans. Many banks have become ultra-conservative in their practices, while the economy continues to stall.
I care that this latest authorization is on top of the $10 trillion national debt we already have, and another $500 billion President-elect Obama has said he will ask for when he takes office, all in the name of economic stimulus.
I care that each $350 billion spent by Congress and the president is $1,144 for every man, woman and child living in this country, or $2,500 per tax payer. I care that this is our money.
I care that Congress and the president are mortgaging away the future of this country at an interest rate that we can not pay nor sustain. I care that they are throwing money and politics at the problems, instead of better ideas, common sense and real leadership.
I care that our grandchildren will be the ones to suffer this irresponsibility the most, because we continue to create an impossible problem to solve by not making the tough choices now.
I know that I am not alone. Thousands of people who care have joined me (www.hermancain.com/hitm.asp). We need millions of people who care and want to try something different to change the direction of our nation.
We dont need change we can trust. We need change we can see.
Those of us who care must be the Defending Fathers.
