I suspect this a scheme to thwart a GOP walkout and the GOP don’t get it yet.

The only reason the dems want it this way is so that america does not notice how few dems there are left. The republicans would be wise to sit on their side and not do what the dems want.

Palin should run 3rd party and give the Republicans some much needed payback...they have a day of reckoning coming.
That only works if there is any chance they would get the message. You may as well whack a puppy with a newspaper two years after he soils the rug.
No. Palin should be involved, as a Republican. We are the base, we are the majority. They loves zee money and jumps in it. The lessons have to be small, but constant.
Think of Pat Buchanan's (a far from perfect candidate) influence in 1996 as a Republican, winning the New Hampshire primary and a bunch of leading caucuses (Alaska, Louisiana). Four years later, he takes the money and goes Reform, and into political oblivion (despite the happy side effect that his placement on the butterfly ballot in Florida might have helped save us from Al Gore). Sarah Palin is 10 times the candidate Pat Buchanan could ever be. This is a turf fight. Make THEM go John B. Anderson, not us.

Is your FR name deliberately misspelled? Maybe Repulican Donkey was afraid bezelbub would raise the roof if he reregistered with the correct spelling. :-)

The choice with Brown was the satisfaction of taking that Democrat seat with a RINO or getting an even flakier lib. Everyone knew it was going to be a short lived celebration for conservatives. The only thing we can do now is change the status quo in 2012, so the RINOs will either have to play ball or be irrelevant.

The tiny little “r” at the end of his name is no doubt well-matched with the tiny little “d” hanging out the front of his pants.

Yes. I chose Repulican Donkey on purpose: Repulican so as not to be confused with the weak kneed, idiotic, addle brained GOP; and Donkey because I drive mules - the four legged variety - for recreation. That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Another wrastlin’ analogy... The Evil Bad Guy has entered the ring and before the match starts, he has one hand behind his back and has an evil grin on his face as he extends his other hand in an offer to shake hands with the All-American Good Guy.
The All-American Good Guy thinks about it... looks to the adoring crowd.
The crowd is booing and screaming trying to warn the Repub... er, I mean, the All-American Good Guy not to fall for it, “IT’S A TRICK, DON’T DO IT!!!” But since the All-American Good Guy is all brawn and no brains, he decides that, maybe this time, the Evil Bad Guy really does just want to be friends...
And we all know what happens next, he is giving the Evil Bad Guy a good firm handshake and as he turns to posture to his adoring fans to show them what a good guy he is, in the blink of an eye.... “WHAM!”
Another folding steel chair now holds the impression of the All-American Good Guy’s skull....

You’re fun. I like fun people.
But, in my opinion, Senator Scott Brown is far from being an idiot. He varies. Sometimes, very wise; sometimes, just another pretty face. But never an idiot, AFAIK.
Sometimes, we accomplish things in steps. The election of Scott Brown was a step in the right direction.

Scott Brown knows on which side his toast is buttered.
1. He's from MA for pete's sake. He's a liberal!
2. Also, he will lie his a$$ off to get what he wants (in this case, a senate seat).
3. He will shamelessly use his family as props to convince stupid voters.
4. He also knows that to throw out a liberal rino sitting senator when he is from a liberal state is well nye impossible.
Get used to mr. brown; he'll be there for a good long time. And if it comes down to cases of him being threatened by any potentially strong liberal candidate from his home state, why he'll simply switch parties!
Remember: he'll do anything, say anything, be anything, try anything, bend, spin, lie, obfuscate, ANYTHING....just to get re-elected.
After all....he IS a liberal!
