He is a backstabber who made O’Donnell lose the
election while Romney and Cornyn withheld money
until it was too late.

Pay attention and read slowly: That is exactly what Rove is doing. He tore down O'Donnell and now he is attacking Palin. For the slow, that could be called wounding our own so I can kill and eat them later.
It was particularly egregious in O'Donnell's case because it amounted to campaigning for Coons (a democrat, for the slow among us).

It must have been like this for the dying monarchies of Europe..a hundred years age. Their monarchs stuck in the mindset of 18th century aristocracy as modern technology swamped them. The same thing is happening to the Western Democracies..whose very deficits are an index of their liability and uselessness to a modern world.
As their irrelevance gradually overwhelms them..their shrieking will become more shrill...hopefully they won’t turn as violent as the European Monarchs did as their irrelevance to modern affairs overwhelmed them.
