What he’s saying is,”OK we’ve had our fun writing about Palin, and actually having people read what we wrote, but now it looks like she might be for real and may get the nomination and we know Obama is a loser and she might beat him, so let’s knock this off and pretend she doesn’t exist. He’s right. He shouldn’t write about something he knows absolutely nothing about. To his credit, with a name like Blow he’s a perfect fit for the NYT newsroom.
Right, I guess the count down is on of how many days until Mr. Blow writes about Gov. Palin yet again. I wonder if he will make it two weeks?

I am writing this article about Sarah Palin to say that I am never going to write another article about Sarah Palin. The writer doesn’t even see this. This is funny to me.

Her massive failure at everything she tries, and her obvious lack of influence on the political direction of the country, just reinforce the point of what a dunderhead she is and how smart the people that call her stupid are.

Sounds to me like a Corporate Media surrender to Sarah Palin to me!
It’s as if these second rate journalists are punching a ticket taking hits at Sarah Palin. In order to do so, they need to have something that is not a repeat of what has already been said. Blow is showing that to come up with something original, you have to fabricate the argument out of a fantasy world on the unicorn farm.

I attended a gathering of politicos at KU this week. Palin was the unseen, but biggest, presence in the room. A couple people (like Anne Kornblut, NYT) tried, vainly, to bring her up but were pointedly ignored. There was lots of whistling past the graveyard.
They did get close to the part that the phrase ‘death panels’ played in waking Americans up to Obamacare. Then the panel ran away from the whole subject.
The Democrats (David Margolis and Peter Fenn, Hacks) glibly agreed that all it will take is a few emails to O’s address list to put things back on track for him.
