For the LAST DAMN TIME. Tea Party activists did NOTHING to fumble Alaska. Our candidate had a majority of the vote and little Princess decided to be a spoiler entitled brat. That race is on her and the Establishment and not on us so where in hell do they get off naming that race as a Fumble by US. As if she’ll even go the Democrats making it a moot point anyway.

Deleware is NO fumble. I thought we’d lose there and DID NOT CARE. Castle losing was the victory I sought and we got it so again I reject the damn premise.

The only ones they can argue are Angle and Buck and the party establishments didn’t help the success of those races imo because they wanted them to lose to prove a point. Kind of like we wanted Castle to lose to prove a point. Difference is we don’t care if they lack chairmanships so we’ll live and we’ll challange them again in 2012. While their petulance only served to not only cost them possible Senate control but has done nothing to dissuade us from doing it all over again.

In the end who really wins here? We do. The establishment fears one wrong vote sending them a strong primary, we keep Castle out, and we still got 5 conservatives in the senate out of the deal. I hope they enjoy being the minority in the Senate the next two years while their counterparts in the House who smartened up after the NY district fight benefit from having worked with us and not against.

Did you ever see this Mitt Romney video, on abortion, and homosexual scout leaders?

Romney had his chance. I hope that his ego does not cause him to run. His wife and family need to discourage him from running for his own sake. I hate to see the guy spend millions of dollars for nothing.

Romneycare is Romney’s worst enemy.

And the picture of him signing RomneyCare with the biggest and most satisfied smile on his mug surrounded by equally smiling, satisfied and smug Democrats should be used very effectively against him.

What’s going on in Pasco County? I guess you don’t know Romney very well and boy you are in for a shock if you really believe he’s conservative.

There is another one just like it only with Reagan and Kennedy smiling and laughing. I remember when Reagan picked a liberal running mate in 1976 to run with him, I believe he was from PA, Scwiter or something. I believe Romney re abortion and more importantly that he would appoint strict constitutionalists conservatives to the bench everytime and he knows how to handle the media/sheeple unlike Rove. He knows how to win and we can’t take any chances in 2012 because he can appoint/replace two lib judges or we can be stuck with two fresh libs for the rest of my life and Roe will never be overturned in my lifetime.

Romney can always challenge Hussein for the Democrat nomination in 2012, hes got a better shot at that than for the GOP nod.

We know him very well and he will have an honorable campaign battle with Palin and the winner will get behind the wheel and the other will be be VP and they will win and teach a whole new generation what it means to be governed by the constitution as opposed to thugs.

Romney’s definitely not my guy for President, but I *do* think there’s a place for him in a GOP administration, though. He understands business, and the financial sector in particular, better than most candidates. I’d put him at Treasury in a heartbeat.

There is a real chance that Governor Romney did not appoint any conservative judges as Governor, but one thing that we do know for certain, is that of all the judges that Governor Romney appointed, only 25% were even Republicans.

He knows how to win

Romney has been running for office for almost 19 years, always breaking spending records, he has won once, he wanted to run for reelection, but his own polling told him that was impossible, he was a failure.

Romney left the Governor's office with 34% approval, and the Democrats took over the seat.

Mitt Romney ran in 2008 as the only candidate with money and organization, against the weakest field that we have ever seen, he spent a record 150 million dollars, and came in third behind Mike Huckabee (was there a fourth? not really), the guy does not know how to win.

All I know is if I were a DU plant, I would do exactly what you and your fellow travelers are doing. #1 Attack the candidate who has the best chance of defeating Obama. #2 Never, ever say who you are supporting for fear of having to defend them for something they said 15 years ago. #3 If backed against the wall name someone who hasn’t a chance in hell to win any statewide election let alone the presidency. #5 Don’t call people names like Moron or Idiot, it may be standard practice at DU boards but it is a dead giveaway that you are a troll here.

You have made two very good points. Who do you think we should be supporting. I like Palin, is there anybody else who has a chance? 2011 isn’t far away.

Well if you think he will battle honorably, you don’t know him at all. He hasn’t battled honorably in the past. He isn’t currently battling honorably. So I doubt he’ll battle honorably any time in the future.

If he’s the nominee, you’ll see the democrats use information about him you can’t even imagine. No conservative would even stomach him much less want him for their president. Hopefully it won’t get to that point. Because it will be a sad day for many if Mitt gets the nomination.

Was it his people behind the attacks on Palin or McCains people or both?

Mitt’s people have attacked her from the moment she was mentioned as VP nominee. (Mitt wanted to be VP nominee.) But both groups have attacked her and some of the people who worked for McCain were cozy with Mitt. Unfortunately for conservatives, the Rockefeller wing of the republican party is one sad, pitiful family.
