I would think less of Sarah if she turned her back on John McCain. This woman believes in loyalty and friendship.
You forget what an incredibly bold move it was for McCain to choose Sarah as a running mate.
She doesn't owe McCain everything but she certainly owes him a lot and she knows it.
True.
"They" actually made an ethics complaint about a jacket she was wearing when speaking to reporters at the start of the 2009 Iron Dog race.
As Governor, her office had to answer all these charges, which kept them from doing the people's business. She saw that this wasn't fair to the citizens of Alaska, so she removed the target. (Her)
I really like this lady.
Oh barf. Johnston knew exactly what he was doing and saying, and how much he was getting paid for it. "Innocent, naive young man" my ass.
Bump to your post #5!
So if the Democrats keep throwing charges at her and launching investigations when she's president will she feel obligated to remove that target, too?
But most telling, when Mitt Romney went South to support Nikki Haley in South Carolinas governors primary this past spring, it barely made a bump. When Palin went, Haley jumped double digits and this week Haleys picture is on Newsweek.
She is a lot like Reagan.
We met her, because McCain put her on the national stage; she knows that. She won't diss him, and she shouldn't.
LOL, no. At that point she will have countless numbers of useless civil servants to handle the inquiries.
;-)
They’re playing checkers...she’s playing chess.
Okay. Now answer my question on post 35.
You are the third person I am to ask, answer my question on post 35 please. So far no one wants to tackle it.
She owes him for giving her an opportunity to gain widespread attention. Being an honorable person, she is showing her gratitude to the man—not his wishy washy politics.
Would you really feel better about her if she were dumping on him?
She had that in Alaska.
Gov. Sarah Palin NYC - Sept. '08
Sarah sees O as her target and has never taken her eyes off of the target.”
I believe she is using one of the Obama machine tactics: Isolate and attack. In the beginning I really thought he would ignore her but he responds which makes him even more vulnerable to her attacks.
Is it possible for a citizen to file an ethics complaint against the President?
And if so, how are the procedures dealing with such a complaint identical to or different from those in Alaska?
“While other Repubs are jockeying for position among their fellow Repubs looking to see who will emerge as the front runner, Sarah sees O as her target and has never taken her eyes off of the target. She just keeps pounding away.”
...and that tells me all I need to know about the rest of the sorry field. Palin is head and shoulders above all of them.
Here, I'll answer it: Her support for McCain stinks, I disagree with it, and I firmly support JD for Senate.
However, she has made her decision, so I don't see the need to keep harping about it.
“Where does loyalty end? Let me ask you a few questions. If McCain decided to run again and ask Sarah to also run again as VP, would she do it and not run on her own because she owes him?”
Very easy to answer hypothetical, which has no possibility of reality.
Let’s assume McCain decides to run. Palin crushes him in the primary. Easy to answer.
