We should be outraged about the profligate spending of both parties. If we don't demand accountability from Republicans, we lack the moral authority to demand the same from Democrats.

The Tea Party is not a Party, it is a movement of like-minded conservative people joining together to voice their opinion about the current nature of government.

My answer; nobody. With that statement she destroyed most of her own credibility in my eyes. People were all excited about how she had balanced AK’s budget, and got rid of corruption in her own party, and so forth... but this undermines ALL of that.

Third parties had nothing to do with the Democrats taking control of the legislative and executive branches of the government. That was all the because of the failure of Republican policies.

Again, the Tea Party should remain a separate movement that demands fiscal accountability from both parties. That way it won't be irrelevant if/when the Republicans return to power.

I think she is right. The Tea Party needs to make a choice, but not from within the two-party system that Palin claims we are stuck with. The Tea Party needs to decide right now whether they are going to let this movement be stolen by failed establishment candidates, or whether or not it is going to press forward and elect independent and third party candidates.
We do have choices, and they are not limited to Republicans and Democrats.

It is a fallacy to believe that those votes would have gone to the Republican party. More than likely, those folks would not have bothered to vote.
