The intent of these DeceptiCons is to infiltrate the conservative movement by pretending to be one of us in order to get their own loonies elected to higher offices.

They run on the Republican ticket because they know nobody with any common sense will vote the (L) ticket.

We need to watch for them carefully because often, the first impression they give is that of a staunch conservative. But once you scratch the surface, you find an anti-war Ron Paul acolyte whose main intention is a power grab.

Also note that another characteristic of these people is that they will roundly criticize Republicans (RINOs and conservatives alike), but you'll hear them utter nary a negative word about Democrats.

These people are clever and they're up to no good. They are as destructive to our cause as the Obamaites are.

Ta da! There has been way too much of that around here for too long now.....It's the big old give-away clue, the pattern. It concerns me to see people responding in a knee-jerk fashion to "RINO"-bashing rather than standing back and asking questions: Who is the poster? What is the source? Who or what is the target? Patterns become clear when one pauses and observes.

You might even find some who "agree" with you re a particular candidate but they are harsh and personally vicious to any who differ. It makes you wonder: Do I want this person on my side? That is another weakening tactic, the over-agree-er.

I probably analyze too much though, haha.

Even worse is that many conservatives honestly believe that their Libertarian ideas are conservative. They are so used to hearing and seeing the Libertarian economic spiel, they think anybody who disagrees is a socialist, or worse.

I have posted this link before, but this guy has a great take on it. Though it is kind of embarrassing when a liberal has to point out to the conservatives how they have boo-booed.

Yes!! I have seen that time and again here and it amazes me, when in truth they are mutually exclusive. Thanks for the link, too, Parsy.
