May all blue states lose seats.

Especially if they are Dem seats.
Looks like Texas will be the big winner this time around. CA, NY hardest hit.
If they are blue states, you can bet that they will gerrymander out the Rep seats.
FRiends, do NOT put your hope in saving this country through dumping Dems in the 2010 midterms.
Many of the Dem seats are in very solidly blue districts.
And replacing ANY of them with RINO Republicans does nothing to improve the situation.
TO SAVE THIS COUNTRY WE MUST TAKE IT TO THE STREETS MASSIVELY IN 2010.
Not to worry. The ACORN census takers will fix it!
Here in Texas, we’ll happily give back our 32+ House seats, and two Senate seats...in exchange for being freed from the Oppressors.
Couldn’t agree more.
See a great many of my posts for the last few months.
RINOS and THE GOP are already working fulltime to defuse
any new potential threats to their hegemony, like the Tea Party movement , and their only relationship with us will be the paternalistic one that also comes from the DEms:
“Just trust us, we know better. We’ll do it, thanks for the votes, now go away”. THIS will be the biggest obstacle going forward, and I’ve been saying this for a LONG time.
But some of us are still naive enough to think there could EVER be a new GOP, one which WE’VE awakened. UH,uh. We’ve only awakened ourselves.
States that would gain one representative, based on the analyses of the Census Bureau estimates, are Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, South Carolina, Utah and Washington.
The other states that would lose one seat are Illinois, Iowa, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota and Pennsylvania, according to the analyses.
The Texas delegation in the U.S. House would grow to 36 members from 32, trailing only Californias 53-person contingent. Ohios representation would shrink to 16 House districts from 18.
Yep, that's exactly what they did here in CT. We lost Nancy Johnson's seat (albeit a RINO) now we have five sleazeball dems where we used to four and two "R's".
My rep, Courtney (2nd District) is a tool of the unions and socialists. I hate the bastard. I wish there was a way for him to be gone but with all the unions in eastern CT (Electric Boat) it's going to be hard.
And do what exactly?
...and that is exactly what the GOP did in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Ohio in 2000, gerrymandering as many districts as they could to favor the GOP. They did it later in Texas. That’s the way the game is played. The GOP should try to win solid majorities in all four state legislatures and they can easily do it again, because the areas losing population are the inner cities, for the most part. If the GOP increases it’s hold in Georgia, you may see a net gain of 6 seats in that state alone after redistricting.
Will you be accepting applications from other states? I think you may have some that are interested.
No way :-)
We are counting on you to liberate us.
Use the tactics of the left and be so numerous and so loud and whatever else it takes that the politicians dare not ignore us.
The big issue for 2010 will be amnesty for criminal entrants into our country. This is an issue that can unite the liberals and conservatives. If we lose this, the tyrants are assured continual reelection. If we defeat amnesty, we have a chance in 2012 if we elect a constitutionalist.
Not suprising... I’d expect more seats to be lost here every census. Its been killed by wretched mismanagement and regulation.
Pa. is a little more purplish than people might think. If the Pubs hold the Senate, and win the House and Governor — which are real possibilities — it will be a Dem seat that goes down.
