Alaska Aerospace Development Corp., which oversees operation of the Kodiak Launch Complex. One of two spaceports in Alaska, not counting Fort Greely.

It sounds like Don Young isn’t going to go quietly. Too bad, as he’s one of the House’s most notorious porkers.

What the heck?
The Democrats are in control of Congress now, she said, and Young is in the minority.
I think people are concerned about some of the strident partisanship we see there, LeDoux said.
Oh joy, she's post-partisan....

What the heck is the Kodiak Launch Complex? It sounds like a medical condition you get after riding around the island in a Boston whaler.

Yup. This gal is advertising her RINOness and bragging that she was a Rodent just a few years ago.
Now I’m all for converts but not one that talks like she’s quoted in this article.

She is a member of the Alaska Women’s Political Caucus and her election is a priority for the fundraising group WISH List, which says much about her politics. Needless to say, she isn’t my first choice. However, if it’s between only LeDoux and Don Young, I’ll pick her.

WISH is full of Susan Collins clones. Anyone part of or associated with them is to be avoided.

Don Young has to go. He’s not only a liability to the party, but to the taxpayers. Almost any other Republican (including this RINO) is better.
Still, I hope other Republicans run, preferably of the conservative variety.

You’re thinking of EMILY’s List. WISH List is the Republican version, though less militant in its pro-abort stance.

Yep, that’s the one. If I’m not mistaken, it’s still less militant than EMILY’s List.

Her nomination would all but assure a write-in campaign for a Conservative 3rd party candidate. Ethan Berkowitz (the odds-on likely Dem nominee) would then waltz into the seat with a plurality.

EMILY’s list funds Democrats. Pro-choice women candidates even when they run against Pro-choice Republican men. Like the House race in Massachusetts right now.

I’m not thrilled at the prospect of her being the nominee, but the worst senario would be for Don Young to win the primary.
It’s still early, so I’ll wait for others to run. And you’re right that John Binkley would be a great chioice. Maybe Young will get the message and drop out.

Kodiak is a spaceport. The other one is near Fairbanks. A spaceport is like a rail terminal or an airport or seaport except the ships go into space.

How about Brinkley for Senate, or is there another better candidate waiting in the wings?
