I think Kerry wants to get back to the Clintonesque 90's when there WAS, of course, those nuisances (you know the child slaughtering, throat slitting, islamofascist mass murderers) but we didn't actually DO anything about it. Kerry just doesn't care about us the madding throng. I can see him looking up from his cappuccino and low fat low cal muffin at brunch and being irritated by all the smoke billowing up from the WTC. After all it COMPLETELY blocked the otherwise glorious view of the sky from the balcony.
