Just maybe President Bush wanted it there to honor the fallen, support New Yorkers and give the NY economy a boost because of the loss it suffered.. I live in New York and I'm a Democrat. I'm distressed that so many Republicans believe holding the RNC in New York is a good idea. All I can think is President Bush and Karl Rove are putting ambition above morality. Nearly three thousand people were murdered here. I plan to protest the RNC this Sunday because I think it's the right thing to do.Kiss my ass, loser. I'm a native New York City resident and I'm a conservative Republican who is proud that we get to show off the best parts of our city to the rest of the nation.
I live in the immediate neighborhood of the WTC and narrowly survived it, so cut the bull, you pussy. You're impressing exactly nobody.
You wouldn't know right from wrong if they came up to you, introduced themselves and proceeded to kick your wimpy ass up and down Broadway.

site. Keep this small thought in mind, Republicans too, died that day, and we have EVERY right to be there.

Most of these nutjobs ARE the enemies of the US. You're probably right. I have no problem with peaceful protests, but the threats of violence and other anarchist activities are just pulling security assets away from the obvious enemy. I'm not sure ALL of these people realize the potential ramifications. I'm sure that some do; those people ARE the enemy.
