There's one problem with that theory. One, you do not believe it. It's not a principle that you adhere to. In fact, you ridicule it every chance you get on drugwar and other libertarian bash-fests.

Two: The users here pay for everything. Jim's salary, Jim's servers and the fees to pay John's consulting company to maintain and write new features for the software.

It doesn't just belong to Jim anymore, it belongs to everyone who donates their hard-earned money to keep it afloat. At least....one would think that he would show a little bit of consideration for that fact.
