#312 ROFL!!!! Can you freepmail me the link to that translator?

You know, I hate to have to point out what should be obvious, BUT...on ths particular thread, which is ostensibly about embittered former members feel that FR practices censorship, I see posts accusing JimRob OF censorship, and a few anti-nuke 'em all posts, and a few nuke 'em all posts....Not one "Comment removed by moderator". C'mon, C_C. That's like trying to prove Communism didn't cause widespread starvation by pointing to a fat Russian.
Prediction: this thread will hang around for a while and be all gooey and cathartic and all, then quietly vanish in a day or two.

What a suspicious and laughable reply. And I don't have any invitation from Liberty forum so what am I supposed to know about LF except for what I see? And what I see is not my type of forum...your milage may vary.
I am not a libertarian and not an anti-Semite so what's in it for me over there? NOT MUCH except the same curiosity factor of seeing a car wreck.

I agree with you. One forum I really don't know how to get around is slashdot. That's very nested I think...Yeah, Slashdot's the absolute worst. Extremely active, all posts on one page until a thread reaches an insane number of responses (300? 500? I forget), a "karma"/thread-viewing-options system so confusing you practically have to have a Ph.D. in computer science to even comprehend it, on and on. It doesn't help that the "karma" system allows thousands of morons to turn the system into their personal playground, on the argument that "Hey, you can always set your karma cutoff level higher if you don't want to read our crap!"; it causes threads that would have 150 intelligent responses to have 600 posts instead.
I've largely given up on even reading Slashdot for these reasons. Luckily, some guy has created AlterSlash, a site that's basically a "Best-of" digest. It lists the new threads and only the hand-picked best posts from those threads. It's a million times better.

Forgive my ignorance, but if these people who have been banned HATE it here so much, then why do they keep trying to come back? Don't normal people AVOID things that they hate? (dentists, roaches, mother-in-laws, etc)

Yeah it does. Do you really think so, or are you playing to the crowd again?

To save the trouble and bandwidth of starting another thread....can anyone tell me what the heck happened this morning? Just before FR crapped out and went offline, I managed to be logged in as about three different people!!!! And without having to do anything! Everytime I refreshed the Latest Posts page it showed me as someone else.
This is a very bad security glitch, as I could see these people's emails, although I did not read them. Any info on this?
To: Timesink
I wish FR would create a Slashcode-based system for computer-related stuff.

Wowie zowie. JD, who runs Liberty Forum, managed to use the word "liberty" 9 times in his important missive to Freepers and Jim Rob.
I am so darn impressed. LOL!

I managed to be logged in as about three different people!!!! Wow! That's really cool! All I got was bumped off for a while.
I gather the software was being tinkered with and barfed.

"It's obvious you'd fit in perfectly with the other great ones. You're free. Shoo! Go forth and multiply."
Darn Jim, sorry I made the mistake of disagreeing. It won't happen again.

(dentists, roaches, mother-in-laws, etc)Yeah but there's this universal fascination with the repulsive... Hence obsessive nosepicking...

If what I said was bollocks, I am sure Jim will correct what was wrong.
Thanks, AM

Something?
Anything?

1.
Many, many, many of the good thinkers and great posters are long gone from FR, only to be replaced by I wear the same shirt as JimRob 2. Darn Jim, sorry I made the mistake of disagreeing.
Disagreeing?
