Maxine Waters is using the same tactic the Soviet Union used against political opponents. It systematically used “punitive psychiatry” to eliminate dissidents. The state would label political opponents as mentally ill and confine them to psychiatric hospitals, where they were subjected to indefinite terms and coercive treatment.
