The mistake Phil made was to talk about the mechanics of “homo-love” and expose the reality of that life. It’s like pro-lifers showing the masses what an aborted fetus looks like.

What strikes me is the number of gay/lesbian type threads on FR over the last year or so. When I told a friend of mine about FR being a very conservative web site, he checked it out a few months ago and told me he thought FR catered to a gay audience. Of course I corrected him on that issue and asked him to read Jim’s mission statement.

That is one hell of a powerful lobby and this latest kerfuffle is only a speed bump for them.
It will take far more than this to regain some sanity... like traditional values being restored into the popular culture.
I don't see any evidence of that happening any time soon.
