OH OH, Jeff Hammond jumped into the audience sort of like Rocketmans crew does during the Allstar intros and they talked Sadler into doing it. He fell and hit his head, they went to commercial and then didn't come back to the show.

By chance, were you watching the Tradin' Paint episode that just ended - 5:30pm PST?
Jeff Hammond does the mosh pit dive off the stage.
Then Elliot Sadler does it. Camera shot was not all that good but it looked like he pulled up short when he jumped. Larry Mac said he hit his head on the stage. Thought it was a gag at first, not sure now.
Anyone else see this?

Ok here is an on scene fan report.
A friend said you could hear Elliott hit the payment - face first!! They brought in the paramedics quickly and took him away. She couldn't see if he was conscious or not. She will call as soon as she can find out anything.

Sadler is such a wonderful guy, I pray he is alright. Elliot is a cool guy. One of my favorite "Power Rankings" from Nascar.com was about him - at the end of the season last year......"Many deer seen fleeing the state of Virgina"...
ditto on the prayer's.
Who was it - Hamlin ? - that was screwing around, running around the hauler and got 19 stitches in his hand.

Yes it was Hamlin. That all started out as an error on the timing pole during practice or qualifying?? The time was wrong so they got to talking about how fast you could do things which led to how fast he could run around the hauler. He cut his hand on the front chrome bumper somewhere.
Update on Sadler: per Claire B...Elliott does NOT have a head injury. He is fine-just a bruised left thigh
