I have word that RYR has some new rear shocks they want to field test.

If they win, they are under orders to do 4 victory laps - at slow speed.

I'm still shaking my head at the driver of the #20 car, btw - bone head move on his part at Talladega.

He asked DJ to go with him if he pulled out of line on the last restart. DJ agreed. I know - "In Car" package - heard the request and DJ's positive response.

DJ gets behind him and then as soon as Smoke sees an opening on the bottom, he dives into it. DJ could not follow.

I really think, as much as I like DJ, if Smoke would have stayed the course - with DJ drafting - DJ would not have been able to pass him.

And as it turned out, Smoke would not have had that long to wait.

That race could have been his, if he was thinkin'.

Just IMO, mind you.

Of course the best car / driver won. :-)
