Fear of losing their jobs overrode their urge to burst out laughing.

a Moonwalk as performed by Michael Jackson which he culturally appropriated form its originator, Marcel Marceau.
Marceau did it in his mime performances, but the Nicholas Brothers and Cab Calloway did it before either. So, the "Moonwalk" or "Back Slide" can be considered a black thing when done in dance (Marceau does it as part of a mime, different art field that most of us will allow the French to dominate without quibble.)

Line dancing is always a crowd favorite here at Jurassic Park. One couple I known moved in and dance 7x24. Crazy.

Schoolboards wasting time. How sad.

I’m wondering why the guy is dancing for the school board to begin with.

My guess is that 98.5% of school boards waste time...

I remember that I was at an event once at the front table where everyone could see me. We had a “Native American” dance routine that was bizarre as part of the show. I had to pinch myself until I bled to keep myself from laughing.

I would accept his dance, his offering IF YOU TRIBAL PEOPLE BY HAND, HAD MADE HIS ATTIRE. Ten Bucks it came from China, and sold at Walmart with synthetic materials that NONE of his ancestors ever knew or would recognize.

Let’s not forget, Native American dances are only performed on bare earth, never on flooring.

We live in a town that has an Indian college. So I’m exposed to a lot of this. I’ve been to the dances and the Indian Markets. It’s fine. I don’t mind but I don’t go to those anymore. Also got trapped in the back of the Red Rocks venue in Colorado and had to listen to chanting in the stairway for an hour. Glad that they’re saving their culture but I don’t need it.

Also since the dance took place in Orange County, CA, I don't think the original Indians of that area wore anything resembling faux Plains Indians attire.

Anyone in Southern California, involved in scouting, may recall the ‘Tribe of Tahquitz’?
Such dances similar to this (but authentic) were regularly performed by the explorer scouts (aged 14-18). They took pride in making their own costumes and studying the actual dances of the Indians.
My Dad, a Scout Master, was made an honorary member.
That stuff would not go over today.
